What about the twenty ships full of equipment still in the Mediterranean? They turned North and are now preparing to land at Caanes and Marseille.

QUESTION--- Isn't there an agreement with the UN, that the inspectors are to be given 48 hours to get out of Iraq???

You have to give time for Tommy Franks to get back in place. He just left today for Qatar. But I think you're right -- anytime now.
Will the inspectors be recalled first?

That would be fantastic symbolism. Can't believe it's been a year and half since that day.

"My fellow Americans. Tonight I come to you with some good news. First, we have captured Bin Laden. Second, we have informed the French that, when they are paying most of the bills at the UN, they can call the shots. Third, the liberation of Iraq has begun. Fourth, France, Germany, and Russia will have no role to play in the reorganization of Iraq. Fifth, neither will Turkey and Saudia Arabia. Sixth, we not cave to the obstructionists in the Senate who are holding up the Estrada nomination. Seventh, indictments of both of the Clintons are being filed at this minute. Thank You, and God Bless America!"

Frankly, I'd LOVE to have pointed out for me some substantive differences between the party leadership. As far as I can tell, the "partisanship" the liberal media is charged with highlighting is simply so much sound and fury signifying nothing. OK
The Republicans think that the biggest threat to America right now is Al Queda. The Democrats think the biggest threat to America is the Boy Scouts.
How's that? :-)

And it's true that Bush's first televised address -- announcing his decision on embryonic stem cell research to be legitimized with government funding -- exactly tracked the decision Clinton wished to make on the subject.ROTFL! You could interject the topic of ESCR into a thread about Thanksgiving recipes, I swear.
P.S. Have you been praising the Taliban lately, or did you decide that was a bad idea?

ROTFL! You could interject the topic of ESCR into a thread about Thanksgiving recipes, I swear. You get the Right to Life wrong and the rest collapses.
A pragmatic alchemist willing to compromise the Right to Life and who believes "the difference between vengeance and justice is Attitude" has no business pretending he's capable of waging a Just War.
Bush should just sic his newly minted execution squads on Saddam. It's just the one guy we're after, right?

The Republicans think that the biggest threat to America right now is Al Queda. The Democrats think the biggest threat to America is the Boy Scouts. That brings it down to a level even our perpetually disgruntled friends can understand. Nicely done.

Save some bandwidth, Askel. Just post, "I hate George W. Bush. He can't do anything right." Leave it at that.
To: Askel5
Let's see.
On 9/11, you posted that Bush, his daddy, and Kissinger (always Kissinger) were responsible for the 3,000 deaths of their fellow citizens.
Now, you equate Bush with Clinton.
And, to top it off, because he didn't follow your line on stem-cells, he has no right to liberate the people of Iraq.
You're nothing if not illogically consistent.
And, your hatred of all things Bush continues........

Kissinger (always Kissinger) were responsible for the 3,000 deaths of their fellow citizens. I guessed you missed the part where Kissinger screwed over both his President and his country because he had "conflict of interest" where the investigation of 9/11 was concerned. Go figure. Some kind of silly mix-up, I guess. Usually folks wait for the public announcement until AFTER they've cleared their new Task with their Masters. Hank must be getting a senile or sumpin' to embarrass your boy like that.
Anyway, it's always lovely to chit chat about Mr. Hankey with you, but I see no reason to waste your time with me. Surely there are Masons needing defense, grave moral sins needing promotion in your capacity "as a Catholic" AND LINKS YOU SHOULD PROVIDE -- The Message They're Sending is Essentially the Same Thing -- when slanderously slanting what others have said.
(But hey ... The Message They're Sending is Essentially the Same Thing ... thanks for getting this back on topic where my "Tweedledee/Tweedledum" bit was concerned. You're a real pal.)

You could interject the topic of ESCR into a thread about Thanksgiving recipes, I swear. If you read the original post, the opening premise is wrong - Clinton had his chance to liberate Iraq back in 1998, and he failed to act.
The rest is non sequiturs and "National Enquirer style" innuendo, strung together with polysyllabic words so that hopefully someone who doesn't read too deeply with think the writer is intelligent - and has a clue.
