If Bush asks for a whole Prime Time evening, maybe we can get the start and finish of the Liberation of Iraq during the same TV slot.

I am hearing that that is still speculation, so I won't go ballistic yet.

He'll say that Saddam has one more chance. Two weeks. We've waited long enough, Saddam has had too long to get ready!

"Surely there is not really anyone on here that truly believes time will be scheduled this far in advance for any announcement such as what O'Riley's scoop seems to have suggested to many."
I believe everything I read on the internet. Especially the stuff in italics or large red font.

Hey Blam! How'd you survive the Season? Fine, I hope. Had a splendid day yesterday, even if cloudy and a little damp ... the sun finally broke through at full brilliance for a few minutes as I was taking a shot of the folks pouring out of Mass at noon. Something appropriate about that ... =)

Forget "Moral Wars" or the purposed Manufacture, Sale and Destruction of human life for Profit.
Let's take "Environmentalism" -- the most insidious of the stalking horses on private property, national boundaries, industrial ingenuity and reasonable expectations of fair competition between and similar stewardship among nations
... not to mention a Boondoggle Extraordinnaire for Green corporations standing ready to scoop up government contracts confected to meet the latest in regulations based on psuedo-science regarding Radon, etc.
... or the industrial giants an "anti-environmentalist" like Bush can enrich with exclusive access to natural resources once an "environmentalist" like the Evil Clinton (or Jeb Bush) has obtained government control over the most desirable lands via landgrabs and control of the water supply.
What did Tweedledee have to say about Tweedledum's record on the most critical of all "Environmentalist" advances -- those use to obliterate national borders and cede authority over land and production to the UN at the global level?
"And now, a Republican administration will continue and complete the work of a Democratic administration. This is the way environmental policy should work." President George W. Bush, April 19, 2001 signaling his approval of the United Nations' Persistent Organic Pollutants Treaty |
Feel free to counter my posts with something more substantive than calling me Paul Begala or calling me crazy. Frankly, I'd LOVE to have pointed out for me some substantive differences between the party leadership. As far as I can tell, the "partisanship" the liberal media is charged with highlighting is simply so much sound and fury signifying nothing.

I recall what a pain the SKUDS were and that is going to be one of our first moves-- to knock them out, to keep Israel out of the fighting. The military has to be watching his every move.

Plans for a major speech on Iraq next week by the president were under review.fact
Bush might give Saddam a very short time period to disarm completely, perhaps as little as 72 hours, before military action speculation...

I was in first grade during Gulf War 1.....could you elaborate on how Stormin' Norman has changed?
To: The Wizard
someone said they did; apparently that was incorrect info

Maybe it's meant to scare the Iraqis into a coup?I think it's meant to scare the French and the Russians into abstensions. Diddo with the leak about Bush deciding tonight.
To: RobFromGa
That would be nice, but my jaw will be to the floor for a week if it takes less than at least a day to do the job. Even that would surprise me; I am thinking about a month.
To: proust
I think we should wait for Oscar night to pre-empt....
To: The Wizard
The President will utter only five words during this historical speech: "Sad-Dam, Yo Time Is Up!"

Your posts regarding the incredible importance of praying for our President tonight (and every day) is so true. And it is something our President has requested of us, he needs this support. As we pray for our President, our precious and beloved military folks who are the ones making the most deep of sacrifices, the President's advisors and our military leaders and our nation, we must do so with deep thanksgiving for the freedoms we enjoy and the asking of forgiveness for our sins.
Praying right now is everything.
It is how we talk with our Father and how we support our nation in this crisis.

He was vehemently against any action against Iraq- until Colin Powell spoke before the UN. Norman was constantly making the rounds on the networks voicing his opposition. Since he changed his tone after Powell, he hasn't been on much.
Some have speculated that Stormin' Norman dislikes Donald Rumsfeld- which is why he may have been speaking out against the war in Iraq.
