Hopefully O'Reilly will say something about this before Friday.

Can you provide a link to the website? I'd like to take a look at the house-cleaning.

These liberal teachers who can not keep their politics from their work place should be rooted out and immediately fired.

Yup, and the incidents with Maine teachers are "isolated." Right.

Someone needs to sit down every one of these teachers and tell them that school does not exist to give them a platform to express their personal opinions. The first amendment does not extend to the work place where statements have consequences especially for government employees. They are free to spew their hatred for America and the President in they're off duty time. Looks like the lack of discipline in schools starts with the teachers.

I sure hope that it wasn't Mr. Berka that received this award.

I heard the Carlson show on my car radio...there's more than offensive pictures on that web page....I hope the stupid teacher is FIRED. His name is Burka (sp?), sounds like Burqa, and he led the teacher strike at Issaquah school distric last fall. If he's so anti-corporations, who the heck does he think will pay his salary increases?
Oh yeah, he also had a photo of Bill Gates getting hit in face with pie along with some anti-corporation blather. I hope that parents in Issaquah will make such a huge stink about this creep that he ends up homeless and on welfare, which is the only thing he seems to approve of anyway.
The big question is, does he grade tests on his prejudices? Do kids have to answer questions in the negative about Republicans and corporations to get a passing grade?

BUMP This was very cool! However, the socialist teacher still has anti-Bush, anti-conservative posters on his window and walls in the classroom. And the principal, Mike Gallegher, was disgraceful. TAKE DOWN THOSE IMAGES!!!!

Has the teacher been fired yet? WILL the teacher be fired?

Dang. I currently am going to college in Texas, but my family lives in Snoqualmie, WA, which is only 10 minutes away from high school. It's sick that these people are using TAXPAYER money to run their own agenda.
In relation to the ongoing pledge debate... who's forcing what down our students' throats?

Any way this is still in a Google cache? I'm curious what was posted and in what context.

I find it ironic that liberals who decry teachers wearing/showing any form of religious expression (to impressionable children) have absolutely no problem with teachers using a public forum to propogate their political views. It's one thing to encourage open political dialogue among adults. But, does anyone honestly believe open dialogue among ten-year olds can occur when they know where their teacher (apriori) stands?
