Harrison Ford Says He's Not Pro-Bush
WLKY ^ | 3/5/03

Film star Harrison Ford has become the latest celebrity to say that he's not a fan of President George W. Bush.

The New York Daily News cleared up conflicting reports of the "Air Force One" president's stance on the potential war with Iraq. The paper said numerous reports found Ford opposing the antiwar letter to Bush in December from the celebrity group Artists United to Win Without War.

Speaking through his manager Patricia McQueeney, Ford said his feelings are "exactly the opposite" of what's been reported. She told the Daily News that Ford was "appalled by the idea" that anyone would think he supports a war with Iraq.

That's not to say that he doesn't want Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein out of power. In fact, he wants Bush out of power, too.

"What I'm for is a regime change on both sides," Ford told the Daily News through McQueeney.

Ford next stars as a LAPD detective in the action comedy-drama "Hollywood Homicide."

He's no Indiana Jones or Jack Ryan, that's for sure...

" Notice how the author states Ford is the star of "Air Force One" and not other movies like "Indiana Jones." Like this somehow implies Ford is an authority to critique the President because he starred in a movie regarding something presidential. Geesch.

Perhaps he also stayed in a Holiday Inn last night.

Harrison's ear piercing a few year's ago registered as one of my major disillusionments (the same year as Crack selling Amish kids were discovered!). Anyway, there is interesting tidbits on him at a reprehensible gossip site (www.geocities.com/mnussitch/gossip.html
) that I won't repeat here (except to say that it explains to me his quirky behavior during interviews).

"Have you ever seen H. Ford off-the-cuff, such as on Leno? The man is an idiot, I am amazed he can read his lines. He cannot put 2 sentences together on his own, he constantly "blanks out" mid "thought".

I noticed the same thing, including these "comical" delayed shock responses. Then I read a celebrity rumour page that explains it all to me.

three letters

starts w/ "p"

rhymes with "snot"

Spodefly reaffirms support for President and strategy to deal with Terrorism

Atlanta, Georgia- 3/7/2003 — In these times of complex international tensions, the FReeper known as spodefly has issued a statement reaffirming his support for the President George W. Bush, and the manner in which he is prosecuting the 'War on Terror', including the use of the military to deprive Saddam Hussien of his weapons of Mass Destruction.

"I know that I am just a little fish in a big pond", remarked spodefly from his palatial hovel along Atlanta's Peachtree Street, "but since every coddled, insulated, Hollywood actor feels compelled to make their political views known, I feel that it is my duty to inform the world of my opinion as well."

Well I could care less about his sexual habits, personally I don't know many men who don't like bush. Guess it is a pole-ish affliction.

Harrison Ford dumped his long suffering wife so he could get between the knees of this anorexic woman. She "bought" an infant (can't have her own child--it would absolutely RUIN her figure, dontcha know) and then brought her little trophey to her TV show set, for 16 hours a day, until someone complained.

They make a great couple, her and Harrison.

Harrison, here's a little advice for you and your friends; Don't say anything in public except lines of a movie script.

According to a CNN poll, "people don't care" about the political opinions of celebrities. That is bullcrap. I care and i'm not the only one.

I care to the extent that i refuse to put money in the pocket of people whose politics differs from mine.

We all should care what these celebrities say and voice our opinion by not watching their movies/TV shows.

Ha ha. Funny. I had the same reaction to that ear piercing. How old was he when he got it pierced? Sixty? Says alot about his maturity.

I know it bothers alot of people when celebrities and their opinions are discussed, but c'mon, they're so fun to dissect! Their egos are huge and it does get frustrating having their opinions shoved in your face. It's a great stress releaser!

Don't watch "Sesame Street" re-runs -- you'll end up seeing Rosie O'Donut and have a coronary.

Seriously, Harrison Ford USED TO BE one of my favorite actors. His judgement and intelligence came into serious question when he started nailing Callista "Stick Figure" Flockhart.

When will these celebs learn that their job is to shut up and look pretty..much like the hookers they are!

Oh, you could well be right. I, too, am married. (grin)

Heche might be only a hair or two better than the common run of Hollywood star. I was simply impressed by her willingness to admit that she was curious about politics without owning to any strong, preconceived opinions. That's unusual among people with large egos -- which includes just about anyone who's ever appeared in a movie.

I was equally impressed that she chose to "go straight" and get married. You don't see that every day from a celebrity who's paraded an "alternative lifestyle" before the world, either. It's a reminder that there's hope for everyone. I hope she continues to improve her act.
