Steve Doocey said on Fox this morning that he had just gotten off the phone with Mansoor Ijaz, the Pakistani-born American who has excellent connections to Pakistan, and that Ijaz said that the info they are extracting from the Sheik means that we are days, if not "hours," away from capturing OBL. They have traced his movements; they know where his wives & some kids are (Iran, where they are being "protected"), and think OBL even slipped out of the country and went to Bali prior to that bombing, traveling mostly by water.
Further, last night on O'Reilly, Ijaz also said that he has no doubt that we are using "whatever means necessary" to extract info from the Sheik. O'Reilly said "including torture?" Ijaz said, "Yes."

OBL is probably on his way to the French Embassy to surrender to a "friendly" force and ask for asylum.

If you do run around the block, must we wear shades?lol

I dunno, that's about how disheveled any of us would look after being yanked out of bed and taken straight to an interrogation cell for the next fifteen hours.

Remember that you're talking about people who don't even really have mathematics, and if they do, it's the mathematics of the sixth century, when "zero" was still being debated. Random tribesmen really aren't much further along than the "one, two, many" counting system in some of the remote islands of the Pacific.
If I had the time to rummage around, I'd find articles about the very first offers of $25M for OBL and one-eyed Omar. One guy said he could probably buy balloons for everybody he knows in his 40-person tribe. That sort of thing.

Maybe we haven't seen OBL because he looks Totally Different!!! The Belushi looking guy we captured didn't look ANYTHING like what he Used to look like! I thought OBL was dead also, until I saw Shiek Belushi.

I liked Ijaz until he said he would vote for Hillary......that soured me on him, but maybe he knows stuff for sure. But voting for Hilary?? ICK.

What are we going to do with OBL when we catch him? Is he going to get a trial? <<< Hillary has applied to be his defense lawyer; pro-bono. Patty Murray, Senator from Washington State, has offered to carry on his good works in the Arab world!

He'd vote for Hillary for President or Senator again? I thought he turned on the Clintons after he tried to mediate the deal between Sudan and Clinton to take possession of Osama....
If he would vote for Hillary for President - well I thought he had more sense than that.

Nice link....a bit of a mercenary isn't he?

Sheikh was a big fish, too, and he didn't have much protection. I'm not convinced at all that OBL is well-protected.

The best protection is complete anonymity! The more body guards you have hanging atround, the more obvious you are.

Boy, wouldn't that shut the Dems mouths?
no...

I liked Ijaz until he said he would vote for Hillary...... Say it isn't so! Now I won't be able to view him with the same level of respect that I had.

They will have him belieiving that the toaster AND the bagel with cream cheese was actually Osami singing him a song in three part harmony....
The guy will talk... count on it. He already has.
To: LS
You weren't wrong. He's been dead since before Dec 13th, 2001.

This, by the way, was exactly Ijaz's point in his NRO article "Brain Drain" (http://www.nationalreview.com/script/printpage.asp?ref=/comment/comment-ijaz030403.asp)
Moreover, this was a key paragraph that I did not read until today, but it makes the point I have made here for three weeks: the delay was all about dealing with the anticipated retaliation, not with military staging or the UN:
KSM's arrest therefore represented an opportunity, if done right, to dismantle the Middle East retaliation infrastructure before launching the war to disarm Saddam. Pentagon planners have long fretted about the cauldrons of fire al Qaeda's Saddam-enabled retaliation cells could unleash on weak Middle East governments if and when the U.S. decided to move against Iraq.

So all across the ME, things have been on fire since the arrest as jihadis improvise and authorities move. Or will soon be as his info is processed.
Perhaps the underlying reason for some the invective thrown at the Arab meeting recently.

When he was on Fox telling about the deal to turn over OBL to Clinton, but Clinton didn't want him, someone asked him if he would vote for Hillary and he said YES!! I wouldn't have believed it had I not heard it myself. I also look at him differently.
Something's FISHY!!!!
