IT'S ABOUT DISARMING NOT DISROBING RALLY!!!
Friday, March 7, 2003
6PM - 8PM
NIXON'S
Camelback Esplanade
2501 E. Camelback Phoenix, Arizona 602-852-0900
Barry Young Show fill-in hosts Austin Hill and Tom Liddy are organizing a "Support Our Troops Rally" to counter all the anti-war protestors. They are also hosting the rally and ask that you call Phil at Nixon's (602-852-0900) to RSVP and thank him for agreeing to hold the rally at his establishment.
Currently, a military vehicles organization is planning to display some of their collection at the rally.
Also, donations will be accepted to be sent to the troops. They especially need things like "wet wipes" because it's so difficult to keep all that blasted sand out of everything. Troops are only allowed to take a shower once a week.
Tune in to KFYI's morning show from 8AM - 11AM during the rest of the week for more details!!! As further details become available, I will post them on this thread.

...Isn't Nixon's kind of um... SMALL???? There's only about 15 tables in there... and it's in a closed in area at the Esplanade... Also a funny place to have it, since the Esplanade was built by Fife "rhymes with theif" Symington...
Where is the rally going to actually take place?

Wahooo!!!! As I sit here looking out my window at 6 inches of fresh snow on the ground, I should really fly to Arizona and participate in this rally. If I win the lottery Wednesday night, I'll be there! Have fun and be safe. Cate/Montana

I'll be there, and I just spammed all my fellow reservists with the information :)

For some reason, your link isn't going where you think it is...maybe it's just my browser. Here it is again, this one goes to FReeper dware's post about phone cards and other stuff.

Was it you who mentioned on there about the company that makes handy-wipes and other stuff? Mary Kay donated tons of lip balm during Gulf War I; she personally made an appearance down here at Ft. Huachuca as part of the donation. Couldn't hurt to write her company and ask for an encore, could it?
