SAN DIEGO DETECTIVE AIDS IN LACI PETERSON CASE
(03-04-2003) - A private investigator from San Diego made an unusual discovery in Northern California that just might help police in their search for missing Modesto woman, Laci Peterson.
Bill Garcia spotted a chunk of cement by a waterway near Modesto.
It was interesting because it was the only patch of cement we saw in about 20, 30 miles stretch. And there was a tire track through it, said Garcia.
Last week, the couple who sold a boat to Laci's husband Scott, said cement residue in the boat wasn't there when they owned it.
Regardless of who might be responsible, Garcia, along with the help of a private field engineer, have made it their mission to find Laci, with no guidance from Modesto Police of Lacis family.
Her family needs to know what happened, said Garcia. Whether shes out there and someones holding her or whether shes no longer with us, and we bring her home, or we help in bringing her home.
Recently, Garcia helped in the search for Danielle van Dam, and also tracked down Phillip Salcedo, the armored car driver accused of stealing money in January.

Some detective this guy is.
He finds a chunk of cement by a waterway with a tire track through it and DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT on the spot?
If I ever need a private detective I won't be calling this guy.Why does everyone on this forum walk around with chips on their shouders?
It's you. Your habit of being overly critical in a fact vacuum creates a backlash directed at you.

"I want to see him get his just desserts, "
welcome, sandy..
most here think snotty is guilty and imo he is but I am willing to wait for the trial, if they insist...but , just desserts for snotty?...well....
there is no "just desserts"....once you kill someone and torment the family and forever tarnish a cherished holiday with your murderous ways, there is nothing we could do to pay him back, sadly....but the MAN upstairs is a differant story....

No, darn I miseed that. Can't imagine it would have been a reporter with any legitimate organization. Maybe affiliated with that wacky radio station duo that was outside SP's home on the loudspeaker asking him "Where's Laci?"

Many thanks to you, TexKat! I must say that I have read with great interest all the posts of all the "official FR welcoming committee". You guys are great and your posts are so common sensical. That's why I'm here....I like common sense.

He was involved in that fiasco. People openly wondered why Garcia of all people would pop up or the other one for that matterJust doing some pondering here but haven't several arsonists been firefighters?
Also after reading this again It is strange that all those volunteers missed the body on that Saturday.
From article:Nothing turned up for nearly a month. But on Wednesday afternoon, a hunch led volunteers to the area where Danielle's body was found.
Volunteers had first checked the site Saturday and found nothing. Ten volunteers returned after investigators decided the area needed to be checked again. Searchers found the body about 25 feet from the road under a cluster of oak trees across from a sand mine.
The remote road about 25 miles east of San Diego was one Westerfield might have taken the weekend Danielle disappeared, said Bill Garcia, a private detective who coordinated searches in the area.

Thanks, Cherry. I've read lots of your opinions here as well as on the 'Smart Case'. I appreciate your comments always. As far as just desserts for Snotty Boy, surely there are lots of methods of torture before dying a slow death that we could conjure up to make the Roches and all of us feel some sense of vindication for Laci and her baby. IMO, Snotty, (being PC here...if he did do it), deserves something akin to Old Sparky after several months of torture.

Hey, is there a better pic than this? I think I know where the location is... The San Joaquin River confluence area.... Many vehicles, people, and those fishing have been all over there, if what I see in the background of this picture is a bridge?
