A truly devoted Christian does not leave his beliefs at the door before stepping into his work situation. Thank goodness President Bush is who he is and what you see in him is what you get. Americans elected him knowing that he was a devoted Christian. He made no attempt to hide that fact. Expecting him now to set aside that aspect of his character is akin to asking him to operate fully without his heart. The real question is Does Bush's religion positively affect his policy? I vote yes.

I voted last evening, but just wanted to let you know that 66% is a PHENOMENAL number. Given that we live in a PC/secularist culture and this is a Newsweek/MSNBC article, I was expecting the vote to be REVERSED!

Freeped and bumped.
It appears that morality leads "separation" by 60% to 30%.

Done and done. I too was surprised by how large the majority of people who support the Presidents faith was. The libs make it seem like only an Athiest can run the country.

In most California school districts, the teacher's union has the candidates fill out personal profile sheets to target a Christian or practicing Jew, and anyone not for the Gay Agenda. After a person is targeted, the local media and teacher unions will make them look worse than a demon with cloved hoofs.

why does his personal religious belief equal a breech in the separation of church and state? I must have missed Bush's federal mandated that every man women and child own a Bible under penalty of imprisonment... thank goodness I have one!
This poll is not asking any relevant question pertaining to Bush and his religious belief, I can't believe how many misleading implications the author of this post is making.
