Well I hope you won't let the confusion turn you away from Free Republic. Sorry that an honest mistake happened. I hope you will tell us more about your day at the San Antonio rally.

Cool! I knew you would make it right if it was in error.
My confidence remains high. Kudos!

Did you see a tunnel with a bright light? I had one! I made a post with some colorful language. The post was zapped and when I refreshed the page, I got the failure to connect screen.
LOL! I thought I was banned but it was my modem crapping out! I had several visions!

The Iman was obvuiously not for military action in Iraq, and during the benedictrion prayed for the womem and children of Iraq! This is fine to pray for people everywhere, but this rally was specifically for the US troops and US president. I wasn't there. But I believe all Christians, Jews and Muslims should pray for the women and children of Iraq. 'Cause if they start dying in a war...brave Americans will also die.

Well you sure got a warm welcome! To get to the subject of your post though:
At the end of the fantastic rally in San Antonio they had an Iman- the word was spelled for the crowd- give a benediction. The Iman was obvuiously not for military action in Iraq, and during the benedictrion prayed for the womem and children of Iraq! This is fine to pray for people everywhere, but this rally was specifically for the US troops and US president. The rally was soooooo awesome, but it had to be politically correct. It put a damper on the rally for me. Do you think I am over reacting? Can't we just support our troops and president without having to be poitically correct?
I both understand your feelings but I would like to ask why you thought the imam was anti-war. Was it just because he prayed for the women and children of Iraq? Or did he say something else that made you think that.
