Please be seated. Thank you.
Thank you very much, Mr. Vice President, for your remarks and your leadership. Thank you, Secretary Cohen, for the superb job you have done here at the Pentagon and on this most recent very difficult problem. Thank you, General Shelton, for being the right person at the right time.

It sounded right five years ago, even coming out of bill clinton's mouth. I apologize in advance if this is the xty-nth time someone has posted this speech - but I have just not seen it here before and I found it to be extremely appropriate.

Why is this lying bastard's statement worth repeating?
Not trying to climb your back sdcraigo. Seems if the pervericating postule of puss were ignored, his contimaination would overcome him and he would disappear----ZOT!!!

Agreed.
Unfortunately we now have a President who makes it "hip" to protest against
Saddam's removal (according to Garofalo and Co.).
I just hope Dubya, Blair and the rest of the good guys can "stay the course" and not
"go wobbly".

"But I'm a big wuss, the military hasn't had any real ammo for 5 years and the polls say this war won't be good for my reputation, besides I'm pretty sure Middle eastern women don't give head...soooo therefore I am leaving this war to the next poor scmuck in office, who I hope is my anal, cardboard friend Al but if not GW Bush will do."

This is a first, he only said the word "I" 22 times in this speech. Typically in a speech of this length, he'd have at least 50.
