When we saw all these circumstances, we thought immediately that we have to look at this a little closer -- and we did Finally, authorities are getting past the hyphen instead of just making a mental note.

Could Dean Fulbright have been an armed citizen and the media is failing to report that?

**The deputy said Al-Salmi kept trying to distract him from the vehicle by continuing to ask questions, and insisting that he be allowed to pay off the driver.**
This guy needed some of that Texas-style duct tape treatment that MadIvan posted about earlier! LOL!!
A more serious point, the guy that chased this Arab down and brought him back to the scene of the accident...that was gutsy!

I ran into a guy online who works for TSA down there. Dumbest most arrogant jerk I ever met. If this is a terrorist in waiting then they picked a great spot.

What? The Indy PD left this Dean Fulbright guy go without arrest? Don't they know he is guilty of ethnic profiling.
Where is the ACLU? (/sarcasm off).

Hey, give Dean Fulbright a medal. I believe there is reward money out there for this type of action against terrorists. At the very least, they should name a scholarship after this guy. Oh wait, they already did.

Excellent post!
Interesting that today is the 10th anniversary of the first attack on the World Trade Centers.

..."he followed extremely close, bumping his stomach into my right gun side. I turned toward him, and he stood staring at me. I then asked him not to bump me, and just stood there and stared."
This officer is lucky to be alive. He failed to recognize multiple classic "danger signs" and allowed ding-dong access to his gunside.

Police said Ayman Al-Salmi, 21, ran a stop sign at Raymond Street and Executive Drive -- less than a mile from Indianapolis International Airport -- struck a vehicle, and fled the scene on the wrong side of the road. It'll probably come out later that he has worked summers as a NYC cab driver.......
