It always warms my heart to see nutmeg and zelig in New York, knowing they have come all the way from the Massachusetts border. Wonderful people and lovely friends.

Well, true to my nature, here I am... showing up LATE! I expected to get here earlier today, but have been awfully busy today. I'm hoping zelig will make a RARE post later tonight - wouldn't ya know it, he'll be out fairly late tonight - he has to take some clients to dinner.

Now have learned that 'nutmeg' is in honor of your state and I'm curious about the origin of 'Zelig'......there was a Woody Allen movie by that name, if I recall correctly.

I am really impressed with the many responses to "our" thread. We're really happy to have stumbled upon Free Republic, and to have met such an outstanding group of people. It's heartwarming to be involved with so many like-minded conservatives.
