February 24, 2003 -- A Vietnam veteran walked onto the court yesterday and held an American flag in front of Manhattanville College basketball player Toni Smith - who again refused to face the flag during the national anthem.

...the student government handed out small flags before the game. More than 500 people filled the small gym, jeered Smith at every opportunity and sang "God Bless America" at game's end.

I may agree that this is a form of free speech, but it is not something I would encourage my own child to do.

I know the one girls actions are the most obvious, but the other three are disrespecting the flag also! Like I always say; "Love it, or leave it"!
