Wow, has Ebert always been this partisan or has he recently fallen off the deep end? I heard he gave the pro-death penalty "Life of David Gale" a zero rating. What a bitter man.

Roger has been off the deep end at least since the early 1990s. His books from the 1990s keep dragging in his politics and he is just as unkind there to conservatives.

It is his confidence in his politics that make him offend half of the public with such snide comments. If he is wrong about his politics though, he may be just as wrong about whether a movie is worth seeing.

I've actually lost all respect for Roger Ebert over the last few years. Reading some of his negative reviews, it's clear that for some movies he's not even paying attention to what's going on.
