But how can this be -- we heard speech after speech the last two days from the unaligned (joke) countries saying Saddam was cooperating with the inspectors and the inspectors were doing a great job! (sarcasm)
That also means that Blix whitewashed his report last Friday if you read carefully. No private interviews since the 7th -- Blix sure didn't give that impression.
What I want to know is why Blix whitewashed the report on Friday?

President Saddam Hussein's government, apparently emboldened by antiwar sentiment at the U.N. Security Council and in worldwide street protests, has not followed through on its promises of increased cooperation with U.N. arms inspectors, according to inspectors in Iraq. Thank's for the assist, you anti-war protestors! Now we can go in there and take care of this bastard, once and for all.

Thank heaven for useful idiots!seamole, you've shocked me. I would never have pegged you as the "silver lining" type before now. ;D
To: Mossad1967
Yea and why didn't they say this to the U.N. Why does Han Blix lie when he is in front of them?

(The U.N. is now officially irrelevant! The building is for Sale!!!)

As is usually the case, the so-called peace marching dupe-dopes have encouraged Saddam to hold out longer, thus bringing war closer!

This is the part that gets me. This isn't that hard to understand.
U.N. officials and diplomats here express belief that Hussein's government may have misread the position of most council members or may be seeking to continue a game of brinkmanship by parceling out concessions at the last minute to stymie U.S. efforts to generate consensus for military action. "They are feeling: The world opinion is with us. We can resist further pressure. We have time. We can play with the U.S. and U.K.," a U.N. official said. "This is very dangerous."

Two days before Blix presents the next report to the UN, whether it be the 28th, or March 14, Iraq once again will start cooperating so that he can report, also once again, progress in cooperation.
Count on it. (< /disgust>)

Condi Rice said this would happen.
I read that there was a hijacked plane in '94 (I think) by a group that was funded by Osama that was headed for the Eiffel tower . These destruction has been in the works for so long..but oh let's just give the inspectors a few more months.
BLAH.
