Can you tell me which this is?

I was thinking either Cooper or Sharp-shinned, but don't know my hawks too well. Jays are always chasing these beautiful birds away.

About the hawk --I can't tell. A Sharp-shinned is as long as a blue jay and the tail is quite narrow with the tip straight cut across.

A Cooper is larger -- almost as long as a crow (not as heavy) and the tail is less narrow and a bit rounded at the tip.

The birds are scared stiff of these two. We always have a Red-Tailed Hawk in the neighborhood, but the birds seem to know when he is out to get them and when he is just looking for mice.
