Dunno about snow.
We have our windows open in the whole house although it is a bit warm.
Reluctant to turn on A/C though.
Trying to be energy conscious.
In fact, got electic bill yesterday.
Last year 66 KWH/Day - this year 57 KWH/Day.
Must be the Global warming.

Global warming my foot!!!!!
It's 14 degrees here with wind chill below zero.
Not such a big deal for folks in the midwest or northern New England - but a big enough deal for us.

What's for dinner? LOL!
14*F outside, snowing heavily; about 8-10 inches on the ground. Let it snow! Let it snow! Let it snow!
Very pretty. I'll enjoy it today, watch the Daytona 500 this afternoon and shovel tomorrow!
65*F inside, thermal underwear and a sweater -- don't want to run up the heating bill, don'tchaknow!

I imagine Ottsville is beginning to get their snow now. We were the last in the area to get it; it's just begun to stick. Hurricane Schwartz assures us that we're gonna see between 14-22" before this is done. My mom was supposed to head to FL on Tuesday. Hope she can get out of VA!

I'll take a few "Currier & Ives" photos and email 'em to you.
I visited the supermarket yesterday just to observe. Shoppers were in full panic mode, just like pre-hurricane lemmings in Florida. Tell me - just HOW MUCH bottled water does a family of four NEED for a day or two? (Unless they plan to bathe in the stuff...) And just HOW MUCH milk does the same family need (unless they plan to... nevermind)
I got some Godiva Dark Belgian Chocolate ice cream (don't worry, it's made in Teaneck or some other place in NJ), and a bag of chips to go with the Daytona 275.
Today, we're just looking out of the warm side of the windows. No work, no school today OR tomorrow.
If anyone has to be out there, please be careful!
(Short note here: Yes, it's me. I'm posting under my wife's screen name. I've been a lurker for well over two years, and forgot my wife was signed up. For employment purposes, I don't DARE post under my real name... Trust me.)
