Why won't you leave these scum bags alone? Any attention, good or bad, is what they crave. You will never get the commies in Hollywood to stop their America-hating if you do nothing but reward them with attention. Remember: if John Wayne isn't in the movie, it probably isn't worth watching and ceratinly isn't worth paying something to see. IGNORE THE PINKOS!!!

I voted for Billy Crystal based on his humor not his patriotism...which should have nothing to do with the issue.
But on the awards themselves...
....it's just one more example of the H'wood/Bdway crowd trying to pat itself on the back.
Ceeerippppes...how many more awards can they give themselves....Tonys, Emmy, Oscars, Golden Globes....all PRESTIGIOUS of course.
Take the money....sit down...and shudddup!

I personally could care less who was the most popular or best or whatever. It's all a show about "look at me" or "look how beautiful/handsome I am" or "Look how much skin I can show" or "Pat me on the back and I'll pat you on the back."
Used to LOVE watching the Academy Awards years ago when women were women and men were men...what I mean is women were dressed so beautifully and their hair was gorgeous. Men were dressed in tux and looked so handsome and clean.
Today I have to laugh at the lack of intellect on these people...especially the silly women. They spend THOUSANDS of dollars on some dress that looks like something out of the rag bag which also covers as little as possible (and the funnier part is they think they look good when they do not and are a dime a dozen) and then to top it all off, their hair looks like they put their finger in an electrical outlet. I want to waste my time on these idiots?
No thanks...I'll opt for something fun, classy and intelligent which is OBVIOUSLY far removed from what the Academy Awards have become today.

I am really sorry that you feel that way. When the Academy Awards uses Emcees to promote their political agenda....wouldn't it be nice to show support to the one EMCEE THAT HAS DONE A LOT FOR THE AMERICAN TROOPS DURING WAR TIMES...BOB HOPE.
It was more about Showing support for BOB HOPE!
I am certainly against the Academy Awards, will not be watching them at all, that is why I would like to stick it to them with showing that BOB HOPE is the most favored.

If you will notice how the names are listed in the poll, they are not even listed in alphabetical order, but they have BOB HOPE at the bottom of the list.. we could help to move him up to the top. :-)
