To All:
I've developed a new Flash film for everyone's review.
It's about 2.6MB in size; if you're on dialup it will
take a while to load.
If you like it, all I ask is that you pass the link
around... and if not, I'd love some constructive
criticism. :)
Best regards to all,
Robert Teesdale

Thanks for the compliment.
I need a cable modem! Unfortunately, my
half of the block here in Louisville, Colorado is supposed to be the last to receive DSL or cable for the county area, I think.
DSL I can get now, though. Some lady was cruising past at 50MPH and tried to avoid killing my neighbor's cat. She swerved through my neighbor's fence, yard, and two telephone company exchange boxes instead. Presto - new boxes, DSL capable neighborhood! :)

Also: is inhalational Anthrax really 95% fatal even with treatment? I seem to recall quite a few surviors from the Anthrax attacks. And only old people got inhalational Anthrax, young people only got it on their skin, which might hurt like heck but isn't fatal.

I would point out if I may, Sir, that we agree on the ends. We are merely cozignant of the delicacy of the necessary means....
The ideals of America are indeed the best hope for the future of humanity. I, personally, do not see any other nation or culture stepping up to the plate with any sort of realistic believability.
It is a matter of care how we accomplish it, yes. Absolutely. And what will give us global success over generations is the strength of our ideas, not our wealth or our forces.

Thank you!
I am trying to re-locate a quotation from one of Lincoln's generals. The commander had turned to the President upon news of a great Union victory, and said (paraphrasing):
"Now the Union is preserved. And now nothing stands between the Union, and the spread of American freedom through the world."
I'm really trying to find it again. It was an obscure general, which is the problem with locating his quote.
The point, of course, is that America's been working on this since
Concord Bridge.

That's a good idea too. Thanks for that one; I'll see how I could incorporate it.

That is powerful. I got goosebumps. Just one small suggestion, when you show America's might ramp up the music and beat, because it is anticipated and our might is so overwhelming! The message is truth and everyone should know it. I am in awe of your talents.

Do those truths stop at the water's edge, the way our partisan politics are supposed to?Certainly not, but that doesn't mean it's our job to enforce them. The Declaration also states that it's the right and duty of the people themselves to provide for their own freedom. The question I've asked you is whether you have evidence that the Founders intended for us to enforce these words for the rest of the world.

I'll look at that one, too. Another musical score would add another .5-1MB to it, though.
But I'm very glad you like it - thank you for the compliments.

Ah, but we're begging the question a bit. Have we established that I assert the Founders intended for us to enforce the Declaration on the rest of the world?
I do assert that they knew the inevitable outcome of the Revolution, was the spread of its truths to all of mankind. For if the precepts of the Declaration are true, then they are true for
all men - not just Americans.
When you marry this perspective with the hyperpower status of the United States today, then the natural result is the - yes, enforced - liberation of those peoples who suffer under two conditions: a) live under brutal and unacceptable tyranny,
and b) live under a regime which also threatens the United States.

That, Sir, is a rather graceful compliment. Thank you.
Didn't she survive the war, go on to be an award-winning underwater film documentator, and die a year ago or close to it? One of those whatever-happened-to things.

Thanks for the nice video.
Emotionally and spiritually, you have me.
But, it's going to take hundreds of years. One battle at a time.
Including those challenges to freedom at home.
