Golly, Heyworth, we know it's not of any interest beyond the prurient to a conservative message board. We're sorry! I mean, it's not like this story is about something essential to conservatism, such as the lead singer of The Clash dying...

Sure wish we had real lives--as you obviously do!

Abduction and kidnapping is one of the items in the Al Queda handbook. If old Scotty boy did not kill his wife, then could it be a possibility that Laci was kidnapped by some radical fundamentalist. In the past few months quite a few college students have come up missing. If the disappearance of Laci can be tied in with terrorist activities, then perhaps some won't consider it so insignificant.

But then we all know what happened to Laci. And it could be possible that Scotty could have had use for some duct tape and plastic since he would not need it for his windows of his home since he has been trying to sell the house.

Well, enough of a real life that I'm not looking up old threads by my critics to bludgeon them with. And, just FYI: I didn't start the Joe Strummer obit thread either. But at least Joe had some relationship to mass culture, and a political bent to his work. Also, the thread came, people said, "Aw, too bad, he was pretty cool, even if his politics were sometimes muddy-headed," and then we moved on. These Laci Peterson threads show up every day. "Ooh, ooh, he sold the SUV!" "Ooh, ooh, her sister thinks he did it!" Put up a post when the cops arrest the guy, or find the body. That they didn't find saltwater on his boat, nearly two months later, is a nothing story and a waste of bandwidth.
