No it doesn't. It means he launched it in a fresh-water stream, probably somewhere off of the delta. There are hundreds of them in the East Bay, the Central Valley, and the delta region at large.

He could easily have taken his boat up I-5 to Stockton and launched it from the river over there.

Nobody made your point, including you. Interest in a story can be judged by what you see here. The more interest the more posts, the less interest the less posts and eventually the story dies a natural death. So if you are complaining about alot of people posting to a story nobody cares about, that's ridiculous and you need to re-evaluate your position.

Seems to me this would create more problems for LE. If the boat doesn't have salt water on it, and presumably hasn't been in the water, that would blow away the theory that any body was dumped at sea. If a body was dumped at sea, and he cleaned it up, why would they want to make a big deal out of no salt water being found?
