This is huge. It means that Scott's boat was NEVER LAUNCHED.

You may call me Albert.
I consider it my duty to be concerned about a fellow human being who is in danger, or whose murder has gone unpunished.
"One single off-topic post." So far, I count at least 3 you've made, on this thread alone.
I admit that "scouring your posting history" is not the most absorbing way I've ever spent a few minutes. But I am still trying to solve a mystery. The mystery is: why people like you, who obviously live lives of supreme importance to mankind, who are obviously head and shoulders above the rest of us in understanding world affairs, are willing to spend so much of your platinum-plated time to make posts complaining about threads in which you profess to have no interest. I sense that the key concept in solving this mystery is going to be the word "complain."
I note with amusement your fondness for the word "germane." Let me guess: you watched a lot of the senate judiciary hearings during impeachment? And you adopted some of the fifty-cent words used by your favorite congresswoman?
It's easy to b---h at people on the internet, isn't it? I wouldn't think of depriving you of this outlet for your anger. But I must say, it gets me, right here, when you call us "dweebs."

Must you repeat yourself? I heard you the first time.
To: RobRoy
It's okay. We understand.
He's the new lead singer for The Clash. The other one died.

Thanks for the info. I was trying to remember his name. What a horrible case. Sometime public outrage is necessary to bring about justice. The pressure put on Scott might also make some other spouse think twice and choose divorce instead of murder.

I appreciate the your post. This is an interesting story. Is it as big a story as Iraq? I don't know, but I bet to Laci's family it is. Sure, not every murder gets the publicity it deserves, but this is a compelling story nonetheless and that is why people are interested. For those not interested in this story, why are you reading and making comments about it?
To: Devil_Anse
Why is this murder more riveting than any other murder that has been committed in the last year?
Perhaps there should there be a separate "riveting murder mysteries" section of this forum for you savvy weekend private eyes to trade theories and swap clues.
Or you could just watch a lot of X Files. Or Law & Order. Or Scooby Doo.

Why is it so important to you to know why people are following this mystery?
To: Devil_Anse
The issue, which you keep evading, is why you find it so captivating.
I have the same complaint about Fox News' obession with the case -- which I blame on Van Susteren.

Perhaps my preferences are none of your business.
Suggest you e-mail Greta. I'm sure her staff will send you a nice note in reply.

I'm sorry I wasted your valuable time. I guess you don't want to see a murderer brought to justice Sure we do:

LOL!!
Nyaah, nyaah, yer mudder wears army shoes!!
To: Gamecock
Oh, is he the latest suspect in this case?
Man, that sucker sure gets around. I say we give him cement shoes and sink him in SF Bay--or better yet, the Bay of Pigs.
To: Devil_Anse
Coward.
p.s. Nobody who isn't a geek uses the cyberacronym, "LOL", espcially since it is always a lie.
If you wish to defend yourself, just explain why you find this muder any more interesting than, say, the dozens of murders that took place in NYC last weekend.
Or you could just concede the point and admit you are a sucker for sanseationalized crime drams, and watched hours and hours of the OJ trial.

I think you really have a problem. Seek help for your anger, for your compulsion to argue with people whom you've never even seen, and for your childish name-calling habit.
To: Devil_Anse
Your problem is that you haven't the courage or the ability to answer honestly a simple question. Wiggle, wiggle, evade, change the subject.
Admit it. You were obsessed with OJ, Van Damm, Menendez, and Jon Benet as well.

(1L:)If the boat doesn't have salt water on it, and presumably hasn't been in the water, that would blow away the theory that any body was dumped at sea. (RC:)Whose theory? Your theory.
Will you please explain to me why, in the middle of February when you posted this, you didn't think the police were going on the theory that the body was dumped at sea? I didn't follow this thing very closely (I'm still not), but as far as I know, there was never any other theory? If that's the case, why exactly did you post this? Simply to be argumentative? Or were you trying to make a point that you didn't make clear?
As soon as the body was found, this post came to my mind, and I never understood why you had the impression that the police didn't recognize a 'dumped at sea' theory.
