Please be careful what you post. Know that neither you nor I regard Mr. Ritter as an appropriate spokesperson to criticize Secrtary of State Powell and/ or President Bush. Nevertheless, be careful what you post because you and FR might be faced with frivolous litigation.

Whomever called this "an inside persepective" -- whether it was Ritter or the reporter -- is way out of line. Ritter hasn't been an insider for several years. He isn't privy to any recent intelligence , and therefore is just as much an outsider now as I am.

``It's character assassination. I'm [the] father of twin 9- year-old daughters,'' Ritter said. ``I support every law on the books to protect children from predators.'' ..."

That's worth a close read. The easiest thing in the world for him to have done is say "that's a lie, and it never happened." He did not say that. In fact, he didn't deny it at all.

"My duty is to speak out, and that is not unpatriotic. It's the most patriotic thing I can do." - Ritter

It all depends on what you're saying, Scotty boy. You're aiding and abetting our enemies (for cash payments), and I'd call that treason, not patriotism.

One, Iraq needs to fully comply, which Ritter said they are doing

Did I miss something? They started complying?

I recently heard this insinuation or suggestion on a Florida Radio Talk Show. It has been purported that Saddam Hussein has been involved with child sex. Someone recently suggested that Ritter was visiting Iraq for this reason and Iraq may possibly have taped Ritter in compromising postions with children. Could the Iraqi's be blackmailing him? Is he siding with them for fear of such a tape being shown on national TV?

Wouldn't Ritter be considered a "public figure" at this point?

Ya know... what I really wish these articles would start pointing out is the $400,000 he got a couple years ago from the Iraqi businessman who openly supports Saddam.

It's a complete dodge. Ritter is very good at it, and i've seen him do it many times before in interviews. I think his handlers gave him good trainers - top PR guys.

I think under different circumstances you would be 100% correct about what you posted to me. He is publicly known as a sexual predator at this point publicly. So the first person he needs to sue would be himself.

He will be a known predator the rest of his life because of his "own" behavior just as Monica now has her last name associated with her behavior, A Lewinsky!
