Gibson on FoxNews this evening interviewed Lori Bardsley who started a great petition called "Citizens Against Celebrity Pundits". It has over 17,000 signers. I urge all freepers to sign this petition who want to rid of the idiotic Hollywood libs. You can find it on "stophollywood@yahoo.com". I found it on Yahoo by typing in "Citizens Against Celebrity Pundits".

Um, how do you "get rid" of peoples' right to speak their mind?
Polls and petitions like this are SO stupid.

I hope the anti-American European crowd start to boycott American movies.
Nothing would have a more desired effect on the Hollywood elite, celebrity idiot!!

Very simple to get rid of Hollywood libs. Don't pay money to watch them. So simple. What did you not understand about it?

Thanks for the post. It's up to 19,000 plus. The kicker for signing it is that the petition will be delivered to the "Not in our Name" crowd.

I'll FReep it, so to speak, just to let them know I don't agree with them. I've heard some of them say "Americans are against this"!! I guess all they're familiar with is 'their own crowd'!!

The list of traitors is growing so long that I may have to rescind my videostore card. I wonder if not a few of them aren't paying attention to where they're being led.
I brighten at the thought that commercial trends may sway to disfavor commercial artists who provide aid and comfort to our enemies.
Yes, liberals; we have enemies.
The Wahhabist fanatics willing to cut your throat in a second are the same oppressed peoples you bleat for whenever a nation like Israel dares to defend its sovereignity against perpetual attempts to destroy it. The swine you defend on NPR are more than willing to trash your freedoms and subject you to Sharia law where you would never enjoy the Freedom of Speech again. That New York and Los Angeles people of Jewish culture are signing "Not In Our Name" petitions makes no sense at all.
Appeasement is a fairy tale diplomats tell each other.

I'm sure they'll be impressed. Don't you think they'll be impressed?
Is this the legacy of the Clinton years? Form over substance?
Rush Limbaugh had some guy call his show, in response to Rush's call for a Leftie to call and tell what they planned to do to try to avert war and keep the peace.
This guy said "This weekend, I stood out in front of (some embassy or something) and held a sign saying 'Stop The War!'"
Rush said "How is that doing something to actually STOP the war?"
The guy replied "Because I'm speaking truth to power" (or a similar, vacuous leftover screed from the Sixties).
Rush thought it was hilarious that this guy thought that by holding up a sign in public, he was "doing something."
He's right, it IS funny...when the other side does it.
When OUR side does it, it's EMBARRASSING.

No, these polls GIVE US the opportunity to speak OUR MINDS about these anti-American creeps.

When OUR side does it, it's EMBARRASSING. This is exactly the sort of thinking that makes it appear to the media and rest of the world that the only people speaking out are the liberal flakes.
I like Rush, and listen to him everyday but he is wrong on this.
Sorry you think that our side should stay out of sight while the other side hogs the spot light.

So, speak your mind. And when you have done so, what have you got?
Hopefully, a mind, still.

Very simple to get rid of Hollywood libs. Don't pay money to watch them. So simple. What did you not understand about it? And that will "get rid of them"? No. It might shut them up or cause them to change their tune, but we are stuck with them unless someone resorts to violence.
But you make a good point, don't support them by going to movies. I haven't been to a movie theater in years, and I'm selective which DVDs I buy. (not to mention I just downloaded a full movie from a newsgroup, its great if you have the bandwidth).
But that brings us back to the petition. What does it do? A someone else pointed out, it makes people FEEL like they've done something without actually doing something.
