George Clooney plays himself. Again.

"Clooney, who had even exposed his bare bottom for the camera in one scene in a bid to boost the film's commercial appeal, reprises the shot here for reporters."

("Clooney starred in this movie. He deserves whatever anyone says about him.")

Well, what a coincidence! I just downloaded Solaris 9 for x86 and burned CDs yesterday. You'll want to check this out: $20 for Solaris 9 on x86. w00t! w00t! :-)
If I hadn't just bought a brand new telescope, that'd have my undivided attention tonight! Thanks!

No, I prefer Caine's wry self-deprecatory humour.

Given a choice of the two... I prefer Caine's response. It is witty and diffuses the argument- yes, to you, my movies may be of poor quality, but they most certainly afford me a high quality of life.
FWIW, I enjoy watching both actors.

"You make a lot of films, do you?" Clooney asked rhetorically. "You make a lot of films yourself? Yeah, I'd like to see you make a film first before you get to talk about it. What a jerk!"
Funny how this man who has never been POTUS or even minimally important, is keen on constantly cutting W down......

"Solaris" a Hollywood perversion of Stanislaw Lem's novel.
I admit I liked neither.
However--get a copy of Lem's The Cyberiad and prepare to be enchanted.
When you discover it was written in Polish and translated into English, prepare to be utterly amazed.
They'll never make a movie of it.

George Clooney is the star of "Solaris." He deserves anything bad anyone says about him.
To: Taffini
cLooney, his humanity exposed and his career in shambles - auditions for the next blockbuster, "Popeye".
To: PackerBoy
When asked about the poor quality of one of HIS movies, I understand actor Michael Caine once smiled and said that he had a very high lifestyle that is well maintained by a low grade of movie.Well, I should think so after "Jaws 4"!

Well George, just maybe you should take your own advice and walk a mile in Charlton or W's shoes before passing judgement on them "JERK"!
