Prediction: GW's approval rating is about to go sky-high, through the roof because of these developments.

This is all so predictable - right out of the Peanuts comic strip. Saddam is playing the role of Lucy, while Blix, the UN, Germany, France, and the Democrats are all playing the role of Charlie Brown. Every time Lucy promises that she won't pull the ball away just before Charlie can kick it, and Charlie swallows the lie every time.

You don't think the inspectors will find a "filled" warhead do you?

Hussein plays these UN inspectors like a fiddle. He'll do just enough to ease their minds about fronting for him. They'll march right out to the cameras to praise his new openness and request more delays.
A wise man would say Hussein will never be someone you can trust, the new revelations are proof. The ignorant will always say he still may come clean some day. We'll never all that he has. The Iraqi people need to be liberated. Enough said.

Yes, so predictable is what some were saying -- but, for all those people who thought GW was "rushing to war for no reason" well - what the h*ll is gong on here? I thought Saddam was a great guy, who already handed over all info. SO, why, now, does Saddam have all this OTHER stuff to hand over??? (In short: People in US will trust GW more on this matter, the more Iraq hands over more evidence, which, it appears, Iraq has only started doing today.)

My thought is that the naysayers will use this as proof that the inspectors are making headway and are the best option.

I was watching Fox before I turned off my TV because of the Inspectors and they asked someone from Spain what he thought and he summed it up quite succinctly -- "Saddam Lies" and then went onto say that the Inspectors saying that Saddam is "starting" to open his heart wasn't going to work -- he needed to open it totally! He wasn't buying the UN Inspectors spin one bit!

Senator Pat Roberts of Kansas on Tony Snow now, saying this isn't the A-team of inspectors, though he hesitates to use the term Inspector Clouseau!

I have a feeling that we just might have to go it alone on this one!!!
