CNN just announced that President Bush will speak at 4:30. That's all they said. Didn't sound like it was previously scheduled.

No, the market wants this thing to get going and get over with.

It's got to be North Korean sanctions, or some other response to the impertinence of those nutjobs in Pyongyang. They've been scent marking all over our territory and Bush needs to put down a gauntlet. That's my guess.

Better ask Teddy Salad. You'll find him in the Yukon.

If it were me, Helen would be banished to the outer darkness. Every village needs an idiot. Just consider how smart Helen makes the rest of the newsies look.

At DU they are saying that Powell plagerised(sp) his speech to the UN. Oh, for heavens' sake! Talk about obfuscation! I don't care if he reads the freakin' Gettysburg Address! The issue is 'did he or did he not make his case?'! They care more about a POSSIBLE Powell peccadillo (say that three times fast) than the egregious evidentiary ELEPHANT in Saddam's living room!
But then, why should any of us be surprised. DU is hardly the wellspring of rational, proportionate thinking.

He's doing it at 4:30 so as to be the headline for all the news shows - rather than them blathering about french and russian fear, doubt, and uncertainty.
To: cmsgop
That makes no sense in the slightest, some of those Libs must have jumped through the looking glass. DU needs to take a look at their own (Biden) if they want to see plagerism.

Why did Bush wait until the markets closed for his announcement/statement? Probably not clintonesque -- he had to talk to Powell first.
