Top Democrats say former NATO Commander General Wesley Clark has expressed interest in running for President of the United States in the 2004 Democratic Primary Season and the American Federation of Labor's Political Chairman says he expects General Clark to announce that he is in the Democrat race in three weeks.

But Clark restated his position Wednesday that he has nothing planned.

The Arkansas businessman and military affairs commentator for the Cable News Network said of the latest prediction, [of his impending three week deadline for a Presidential announcement] 'There's no truth to it.'

'I am not a member of a political party, I am not a candidate, I haven't raised any political money,' Clark said in a telephone interview.

'I don't have any timeline.'

McCoughUp has been working on this. Notice the article says Clark has "expressed interest." The DNC probablt threatened his grandbabies to the point of this article.

Whatever, I think it is number 11, including Sharpton.Clark is very left, very progressive, that is what the demokrats are all about today. They think this is their winner,LOL I remember when they thought Herman Munster Kerry was, or Bill Clinton Edwards.

Short-sighted Dems think it would be to their benefit to have a "bona fide military man" on the ticket to counter Bush's popularity on foreign affairs.

In reality his participation would subject the Dems and Clinton to closer scrutiny. There remain many unanswered questions re: Kosovo (for starters) that the Dems should avoid.

Ah, Clinton's very own perfumed prince general wants to be king! Is the man daft? Does he really see himself as General Boulanger, the French 'man on a horse' who many Froggies promoted for president/dictator after the Franco-Prussian War? The thought of his running invites the comparison, and the comparison brings for (ala Monty Python) '"peal's of derisive laughter, Bruce....".

Remember Clintoon is the man behind the curtain pulling McCoughUp's strings! Clark is not running, the dems are floating a trial balloon to see if it is 'worth their while' to offer Clark bribes and or threaten him if he does not run. Next: They will bring out a JFK Jr. clone. (Dead people voting for the dead)

If this were near 99.9 % true it would be on the DNC web page. It is a trial balloon via the AP.

McCoughUp is much too busy playing the race card again and republican bashing.

Are you sure it isn't Gen. Clark Wesley? I thought Clark was a first name.

Hey, let's welcome ole Clark to the team, "Hellow Clark!!!"

With all these guys in the running and so early, I still betting that the liar, PanderAl Gore will make a run. Never mind what he said, he's a dem and a Willie trained dem, at that.
