Short-sighted Dems think it would be to their benefit to have a "bona fide military man" on the ticket to counter Bush's popularity on foreign affairs.

In reality his participation would subject the Dems and Clinton to closer scrutiny. There remain many unanswered questions re: Kosovo (for starters) that the Dems should avoid.

That any high-ranking military man could be a Democrat in this day and age is astounding. Clinton gutted the military and sent them all over the world and tried to make it into his own social playground. It is well known that the hard left is extremely anti-military.
