What the heck else can this guy do to make himself appear more evil. We are dealing here with another Hitler or Stalin.

I'd be funny if the mail got mixed up and these were accidently sent to the "human shields."

Yep, we need proof... the catch is, we cannot get the proof... and the catch is, it's not PC to storm troop Saddam to get the proof... so, out of all these subtle intellectual innuendos, we end up aggreeing with Saddam's thesis in the first place.... my, aren't we thinking deeply indeed over in liberal lands and Europe.

Saddam Hussein has ordered official death certificates sent to Iraqi scientists' families as a chilling warning against aiding U.N. inspectors, The Post has learned. Is anyone really surprised that Saddam would do this??

What the heck else can this guy do to make himself appear more evil?
Lets see
Indiscriminately kill thousands of women and children with gas? Did that already!
Torture and execute members of his own family? Yep!
Offer cash to families of homicide bombers? Definitely evil.
Try to assassinate the President's father? Why is this guy still breathing?
Throw babies out of incubators? Ive heard that a time or two.
Not much left on the list.
He could melt down gold fillings.
He could tie up a fair-haired maiden and leave her on the railroad tracks.
He could begin chanting
" Io Shub-Niggurath!
Black Goat of the Wood with a Thousand Young!
With my tongue I call to you, with my mouth I beckon,
These I offer to your service - come forth! "
If he accomplishes any three of the above he would finally qualify to gets his own satanic demon entry in the Grand Grimoire.
I mention his good qualities in the interest of being fair; he is an attractive consumer of weapons. He seems to have a lot of business admirers in France and Germany.

It may be that the "Iraqi exile groups" are just fanning the flames of war because they think they will rule the new Iraq.
I'm not sure that they can be considered disinterested parties.
I doubt any Iraqi scientist is dumb enough to think that Saddam would let them live if they betray him.
All in all, a meaningless story for which no evidence exists.

If they wanted to fan the flames why not claim that Iraqi scientisis had been kidnapped, or murdered? Who would be able to disprove that claim?
This sounds just like the type of intimidation Saddam would resort to.
It's no wonder that no Iraqi scientist will agree to be interviewed withut a "minder" by his side.

A complimentary notice wasn't sent to the U.N. inspectors?

"I doubt any Iraqi scientist is dumb enough to think that Saddam would let them live if they betray him." That is why the Bush administration demanded interviews with the scientists outside of Iraq, with no Iraqi head-choppers present, and with the scientist's entire family coming with the scientists at the same time.
The U.N. of course laughed. The U.N. may wind up killing more people than we thought.

Yeah. And the Bush administration knew full well that it would never happen.
You know, a lot of this stuff is just posturing for the cameras, typical propaganda campaigns from the State Department and the Pentagon DIA. They don't amount to much.
FoxNews did a quick blurb on this as I was writing. So the impossible demand is fulfilling its propaganda objective. Goebbels would be impressed.
