Sen. Bill Frist (R-TN), the new Majority Leader in the U.S. Senate, has established a new polling page on his official website. It's not well-known yet, so this is our chance to make a difference in getting CONSERVATIVE opinions heard!
The first question Sen. Frist wants your opinion on is, "Should the United States use force to remove Saddam Hussein from power?" Only 3,000 people have responded so far... and the answers are running neck-and-neck.
What do YOU think?
ACTION ITEM: Go to Sen. Frist's site below to let him know YOUR opinion:

Why is Frist asking us? Thought he was going to lead; not follow. . .
Don't like this. . .

Has anyone gotten through? I wonder what the controls are - for instance, does it require an address to be reported? If there are no controls, people from anywhere in the world could answer... like the recent Time Magazine polls?

(Compassionate Conservatism - beats the alternatives in either case.)

I just used the contact form to send Sen. Frist a message that no one could reach his opinion polls. We'll see what comes of that.

He strikes me as a leader, not a follower. It's not the presence of polling data that concerns me. I want politicians to have a good feel for what people want. It's reliance on them to make decisions that makes them a follower. Let's see how he performs.
