Human shields to leave for Baghdad
LONDON: Some 50 people opposed to a war in Iraq plan to leave for Baghdad tomorrow in a double-decker bus to act as human shields in the country, organizers said Wednesday.
At a Downing Street demonstration the previous day, the protestors, mostly British and US citizens, left a list of sites where they plan to install themselves in the hope of averting a military strike on Baghdad.
We have given Tony Blair a list of names of the people who will be going and the locations where we will be deployed, said Ken O'Keefe, a former US Marine and Gulf War veteran, and an organizer.
Officially, it is now known that Tony Blair has been notified that UK and US citizens are going to be in harm's way and will be killed by our own governments if they go ahead with this war, as they appear determined to do, said O'Keefe, who renounced his US citizenship in protest of US foreign policy. Speaking of evo devotees, I wonder how many of them overall support the war in Iraq. After all, isn't part of evolutionary theory the survival of the fittest? If we blow Iraq off the map, isn't that just part of the whole 'natural selection' thing? Well, yes. I think Saddam and Tarek definitely qualify as mutations subject to being wiped out by the "fittest."

Thanks, we've programmed these locations into our smart bombs.

They're DRIVING to Baghdad? From LONDON? They'll be looking for that bridge over the English Channel. "I know it's around here somewhere, pass the bong"

They'll be looking for that bridge over the English Channel. "I know it's around here somewhere, pass the bong"Well, there is the Chunnel, and there are ferries. But these people are probably too stupid to remember that.

Darwin was right. The gene pool will be that much better off for their actions.

I really want to see the bomb camera footage of the look on their faces when they realize they're about to die. That should be classic!!!

When he realized you just as easily build a loading dock in Mosque as anywhere else and that we wouldn't bomb it. Just add religious human shields and you have the perfect cover. He can also keep inspectors at bay by saying it is a muslim place of worship and infidels cannot enter as it would be descration. Blix, of course, will understand perfectly and go look elsewhere. Can't go bruising any cultural sensitivities if you work for the UN.

I am living for the day when W says that when he said everyone would have to decide if they were with us or with the terrorists, he didn't only mean those outside our borders.
I hope he says it on Tuesday.

I won't be satisfied until
every anti-American protester decides to be a human shield.

Remember the story from last year about the leftist in the bus with the hole in the top riding to the demonstration with his head stuck out the top, not paying attention and cracks his cocoanut on a tunnel abutment? I see some of that in the future for these 'freedom riders'.

Mike Barnicle, no conservative, suggested that O'Keefe get some psychiatric help. That was also my assessment. The guy clearly has problems.

Still MadAsHell about many things here, including the push by the so-called Democrats who SHOULD be calling themselves SOCIALISTS for the type(s) of legislation they try to push through.
As for the screen name, JimRob asked me a while ago if I was willing to change my screen name as it was too close for comfort to another FR screen name (Mad-as-Hell), when they were upgrading the software used to run this site. Of course, I was happy to cooperate as long as JimRob saw to it that my registration date would not change (just so I was not perceived as some disruptor/newbie ;-).
