People want to know: Who is Scott Peterson?

I posted this, as it was because of this reporter, at the National Enquirer, that the police went to Laci's family last week. I would normally never pay any attention to such material. I have never purchased nor read said rags. That said, it appears this particualr one has instigated some movement in this case.

I sourced it, did not want to mention any part of it without sourcing it.

I can never understand it either. Why wouldn't one wife/ girlfriend be enough? Who has the money and attention for more than one relationship? Who wants to be nagged by two or three women at once? I always think of the latter parts of "Goodfellas" where Henry Hill is getting heat from both the wife and the girlfriend.

And that doesn't even take into account the stress of keeping secrets.

It doesn't surprise me Scott would buy a membership in a Country Club, albeit pricey. He did go to College on a "golf scholarship" didn't he?

Sure, it had to be one of Laci's family members who went into the house to retrieve something of hers. Scott is a pig for not letting hem have whatever personal items of hers they wanted. (They could have given them back if she showed up alive)..

But IF she is dead, and they pin it on Scott, HER family will get the Life Insurance Money, so take that, Scottie boy!

Thanks for the NE news, Rusty! Shouldn't be too much longer before Scott has his Orange jumper.

Websleuths had pictures of Laci and some of her girlfriends. I went looking through the threads and can't find them now. One of the pictures was Laci, a tall thin blonde and another girl. The picture was taken in Laci's kitchen. Wonder if that is the one that was talking to Scott?

Getting a Peugeot sedan instead of a Ferrari would probably turn most guys into coldblooded sociopaths. [He's kidding about that....I think. :)]

As far as the golf goes, it's hard to say. Most recreational golfers never play a round of golf in which their score is under 100. The more serious duffers can often play "Bogey Golf" (on a regulation course, a score of 90 which represents [on average] one-stroke-over-par per hole). Very few non-pros regularly score in the mid-to-low 80s. Almost no non-pros ever honestly make it down into the 70s.

On a regulation 18-hole golf course, "Scratch Golf" is a score of 72. Since he allegedly went to college on a partial golf scholarship, I suppose it's possible he could have shot a round of par golf while still in high school, but I seriously doubt it. If he was that gifted, he would have had no trouble "going pro".

He wasn't home sick for the next 6 years he went off to college..in itself this means nothing either...that is why we must try to JUDGE all...

I heard something on tv, I think it was FOX a few days ago and never heard it again..........that a girl that Scott dated in college was missing, presumed murdered and her body was never found. Did anybody else hear this or know anything about it?

At this point, the authorities have stated that Scott has not been connected to that case, and there was never information that they had dated. Unfortunately, there was some bad reporting, by Fox as that story broke. Both Scott and Laci attended the same college as Kristin Smart, who disappeared 7 years ago. Scott was among the many students on campus who were sent a letter asking them to come forward and speak to authorities( not because they suspected him of anything, just because they were students on campus). Scott never replied to the letter and the police never tried to follow up as he was not a suspect.

Hi Spec, How's hubby's mouth? Hope he's a lot better. They let out all the schools today here. It was 10 degrees most of the day with wind chill well below zero..

Her poor family does deserve items.....do I agree with them stealing it in that way? Not sure at this time. I would if he refused to give them anything.
