Is that just for women or does it also apply to low-down, two-timing husbands?

Not at MY house! No way. I would have grilled him all night long.

I would say that fidelity or infidelity is irrelevant as to where a couple chooses to live and work, so yes, it applies to low-down, two-timing husbands as well as the women who marry them and pretend not to know that they're being two-timed, while together they run up huge bills and bankruptcies.
I'm figuring that Scott probably did this (double) murder, and if so, deserves to fry for killing Laci and the baby. But the most innocent victim is truly Connor. Just because Laci was pregnant doesn't mean she was a saint. She was human. Human nature ensures that any woman who forces her breadwinning husband into a residence and career change he doesn't want (and as I said, I know personally and well that living in Modesto is a far cry from living in San Diego or SLO County), so she can live closer to her parents, is fomenting a miserable marriage. If she did that, who knows what else she did? My guess is that both Scott and Laci had their faults RE their marital relationship. And I'm too old to believe that if Scott and Laci were bankrupt and living beyond their means that it was ALL and ONLY Scott's doing and Laci knew nothing about it. Laci made her choice in Scott. It was a dumb choice, but it was Laci's choice. A sad and tragic one that resulted in undeserved consequences -- and if Scott is guilty, he deserves to be fried.
