Ritter in 1998 had integrity.
Facing Biden, he spoke with fire, and Biden's for-the-camera act was flip--denial to the contrary notwithstanding.
The Ritter act since has been the mirror image.
Ritter has gone far, far beyond any simple statement of Iraq's compliance.
Ritter has been as intentionally offensive and insulting to America as he could.
Behind his playing to the press conference and the assembled faithful hordes of anacephalic America-lasters, he's been as black as coal in the hole where a soul would reside.
Semper schmuckus, Scotty: any "man" who would betray 1) the truth; 2) his country; 3) his wife; 4) his daughters belongs on the ice floe with Philip Nolan, forever ten miles north of Nome, with no way home.
[Schadenfreude to the tune of "Edelweiss" up to close. Roll credits. . .]
This story is fiction. Any similarity to actual persons or events is hilarious.

I thought that Crier, who used to be on FOX, was a conservative. She's a lawyer in her own right, and to suggest such a thing without a scintilla of evidence is shocking. Wouldn't this be called "leading the witness"?

BUH BYE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot understand why he went on TV either. Unless he's a smug SOB.

What about the bird?

which of course then raises the issue of why he did not deny what happened -- didn't even deny, when directly asked, that he had solicited young girls for sex on the internet.
you also seem to have some confusion between "innocent until proven guilty" as a matter of law in juducial proceedings, and "common sense," which is actually how the world outside of the courtroom is supposed to be governed.
i was going to say, "nice try, anyway," but actually, it wasn't.

I thought Brown handled this interview very well, very professionally. He did not come off like a salivating bully. That would only have overshadowed somewhat the devastation of Ritter, which was the main thing here. Credit where credit is due. Brown got it right.

Look at spectre's post on that thread; she had taped the show and she went back and looked at it....she said almost the whole discussion was Crier insinuating something about Bush and NOT talking about Ritter!

You know how many people are falsly accused in the U.S. of this kind of crap? And police do screw up too, you know.If that was the case he should have stated that he was falsely accused, not lie about it not happening and then try some second rate "case sealed I can't discuss" legal BS.
The man has no honor, it is crystal clear.
He needs psychiatric help, like most leftists.

"Why on earth did he come on the TV today???"Because he thought he'd get a pass. But he found out that a decision had been made to ambush him. This signals that his usefulness as a propaganda tool for the left is over. As damaged goods, his only remaining use was to serve as piranha food for enhanced ratings. He's being replaced with another stooge as we speak.

Aaron Brown did a great interview of Ritter. He gave him a chance to explain, talked to him like he was a friend, even sighed before he brought up what's been printed and broadcast about the charges, and showed a small bit of digust when Ritter went into his spin and all but stopped the interview when Ritter tried to spin about Iraq.
It was a masterful interview of Ritter. Brown didn't have to pound on Ritter or even pressure him to talk. Ritter's evasiveness was enough to be completely devastating. I have a new-found respect for Brown.
