Scott could be doing something important, like stopping the War and saving the world, but nooooooo, he's bogged down in this side issue. Now that he has actually come out and made such a mockery of the law and this case, I hope every SHRED of evidence comes out about whatever happened.

"Hmmm...Brown is doing a good job, surprisingly."A guess -- CNN is so desperate to remedy its declining viewship, ratings and profits, that it made the decision to sacrifice Ritter rather than be left in the dust by Fox News yet again. They probably figure that their friends in the communist World Workers Party will dredge up another stooge to replace him.
To: Howlin
Figured he might show up on CNN after I found out their parent company owns the Court channel! Believe CNN will eventually end up with egg on their face!

My hat is off to Aaron Brown.
He did exactly what a real journalist is supposed to do. He was very impressive tonight.

LOL... I couldn't agree more!

I want to know how it is that people get prison time on a first offense for this but Scott Ritter is repeatedly treated like a little old lady who gets a ticket for 7 MPH over the speed limit but a kindly judge just can't bear to make her actually pay the fine.
This whole thing makes me wonder how many local politicians are on the Iraqi payroll. No wonder Scotty is so loyal to al-Qaeda. It makes sense that he'd be a real pal to anybody who could make his attempted kiddie-raper beefs disappear repeatedly. I'm sure being a registered DemonRat helps Scotty quite a bit, too.
Any local government that pulls this crap should be gutted and replaced at the expense of the local taxpayers that put these clowns in the high positions of local government.

I can't believe it even the dense DUer's are calling Ritter Toast...great interview, Ritter showed his stupidity by not admitting it and apologizing.
Glad CNN told the truth that Ritter could legally respond....

"Ritter: I'm suppose to be dealing with matters of war and peace."
Doesn't he know that Tolstoy already covered that topic?
To: Petronski
LOL! Thanks for the DU link. That felt so good!

He is going down in flames live on CNN Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Truly a fitting end to a long, strange saga of a fallen hero. There's nothing like seeing a man get both barrels from the shotgun of karmic retribution, broadcast on global television. You almost have to feel pity for him, as he clearly snapped several years ago and never came back to reality.
Almost.

One afternoon on Fox, David Asman kicked his butt and it was about Iraq.....it was SWELL.
He can be had.

Thanks for the heads up....this was good television. And Scott Ritter is such an arrogant prickster, he probably thinks he can make all this unpleasantness disappear just by standing up to the likes of Aaron Brown.
I'm glad Brown kept calling him "radioactive". I'm glad Ritter inadvertantly described himself as an anti-war voice. and most of all, glad Brown warned him he wouldn't be that voice again.

Thanks for the alert. Glad I saw it with my own eyes. Ritter's radioactive
Ritter's radioactive
and on par with WJC when it comes to the truth
among other character flaws.

The facts of this story so far can only lead one to believe that Scott Ritter is the scum of the earth. Any grown man that would proposition a young girl like he did, deserves to spend the rest of his life behind bars. Many studies have been done and there is no cure for child molesters and they will never be capable of functioning in society and we are responsible for protecting our children from perverts like Scott Ritter.

"Brown said CNN attorneys reviewed the law and could find nothing therein which would bar Ritter from speaking about it."If CNN had any smarts at all, they would bring on this attorney rfn to reiterate. When Ritter tries to contradict him, he could say, "Well, Mr. Ritter, I've practiced criminal law in the state of New York for 41 years. I've taught it. I think I know more about it than you do, and an order to seal is not the same as a gag order on you."
