ABC News will have a new poll at 6:30 PM EST tonight testing the tax cut, the war, and a horse race of the current 2004 Presdiential field.
On the Presidential level, still picking apart the results of the past weekends results in Iowa, all six Dem Cadidates will speak tonight at the Pro-Choice America's Dinner at the Omni Shoreham hotel. Receptions start at 6PM, events begin at 7.
Division of pro choice activists is key right up there with labor and African Americans. The echo-chamber effect for anyone who does well tonight or poorly will be huge.
Watch on C-SPAN how the candiates use their 4 minute speaking time to maximum effect. Watch to see if the time limit is strictly enforced. Watch to see who tries to make news, and how hard they go after the President. Watch to see who brings and/or makes reference to their spouse.
Dick Gephardt is the only one about whom there is some pre event buzz that he plans to make news.
Most of the speculation has centered on the possibility that he 'will apologize' for his previously pro-life position, but Time Magazine's Joseph Klein zings 'at the Pro-choice cattle show, the only profile in courage will be Gephardt's refusal to endorse late term abortions.'

So he's pro-death? Any chance we can convince him to stand behind his words and perform a post-birth abortion on himself?

Rep. Gephardt May Apologize for Pro-Life StanceBeing a conservative means not having to say you're sorry.
To: ewing
Does that mean he's pro-Death Penalty as well? Or is he just in favor of murdering the innocent and keeping alive the guilty?

Will he imitate that Chinese artist and eat a dead baby to show that he's sincere?

Damn, we must have some good moles in charge of the campaigns of these Rats.
They keep dragging up and standing by their old mantra/planks that are losing support each day.
This just shows that the rats in power in their losing party have zero insight to how America is becoming more conservative since 9/11.

Now if Dick Would only explain this sentence from bill HR4482 the Universal and Portable Pension Act of 2002 (107th congress).
`Sec. 408B. Universal Retirement Savings Accounts.'
(c) TERMINATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO INDIVIDUAL RETIREMENT PLANS, INCLUDING ROTH IRA'S-
That would be nice, cause I am only reading it one way. INDIVIDUALS CANT SAVE THEIR OWN MONEY.

Sounds like the USS Democratic Party is listing about forty degrees to port and still taking on water to the left. Here's to hoping she turns turtle in time for the elections.

So he's pro-death? Any chance we can convince him to stand behind his words and perform a post-birth abortion on himself? LOL! You brought back memories of my freshman year in college.
I had to take an anthropology class, where the professor explained to us that in certain Eskimo cultures, children under 5 years old were not considered a soul yet. Therefore, these Eskimo children were not given names until their fifth birthdays, and if there ever was a famine, these children were the first ones to be eaten.
Then I hopped to my freshman English class, and my feminist teacher was pontificating about being pro-choice, fetuses are not people because fetuses cannot survive by themselves, mothers cannot take care of them because they are too poor, blah, blah, blah (very relevant to English grammar and composition). Therefore, it was OK to kill a fetus, even if the pregnancy was at the last stage.
Then I asked my English teacher why can't we abort children after they are born? Since in the Eskimo culture babies are considered fetuses after they are born, we might as well become multicultural and kill newborn babies. She insisted that would be murder.
???
[Why do we have to take so many stupid courses in college?]

Speaking of campaign finance reform. Which we are now because I just brought it up. It might be wise to construct something that does not allow these folks to stuff themselves with cash as they "run for president" (wink wink) then use the money for something else later. In fact, that makes sense all-the-way-round. Once the campaign is over the cash is taken from their hands. And "reform" should also apply to their pet toys like
Hillpac.
