You are trying too hard to not accept it. His silence on the matter is deafening. If I were innocent and this was alleged about me, I'd sing like a bird.

Everyone who disagrees with Bush and is charged as a child molestor is guilty. Thank you for sharing, Captain Inane.

So people who "go about their business" and don't oppose Bush (which you equate with being for America) are ok and shouldn't be bothered (why would they be)- but trouble makers and those who disagree with Bush (and you and your notion of what is best for America) are traitors and should be hunted down- slimed and treated as scum? Does that basically sum up your beliefs?

In Wisconsin, these are called "deferred prosecution agreements." The case is held open for a certain length of time (the longest I've seen is 12 months), and if the defendant commits no criminal acts during that time period, the case is dismissed and the record sealed. If the defendant commits a criminal act during that time period, he (or she) is charged with the new crime as well as the previous crime.

I sat on a jury at a rape trial when I was a 21 year old idiot liberal. I had been indoctrinated in all the feminist crap about how a woman never tells a lie about rape while I was in college. But when I was on this jury and I saw how pathetic the evidence was (it was clear the girlfriend was making up the entire story and that the boy had insisted that it be brought to trial even though they had offered him a deal) and it opened my eyes to the justice system. I can see the reasons why Ritter or someone like him would not want to go to trial. I can also see why a prosecutor would strike a deal because if it did go to trial Ritter would win. I am just saying- this whole thing stinks.

"...I can also see why a prosecutor would strike a deal because if it did go to trial Ritter would win." How do you know he would win? Are you Scott Ritter? Are you the fired Assistant DA? Are you psychic? I would dare say that there was substantial evidence, including his computer files, to convict. My hunch is that the ADA made a deal either because she was lazy, or was possibly bribed. She WAS fired, right?

I like it. I've already did one song, but this one might have merit.
