Well, if it's 3 minutes, you can bet that it won't be mentioned in the Grapevine segment. I say Brit initially throws it out there in the Grapevine for a 10-15 second run, and then if the story gains more momentum he'll give it a segment of its own in a day or two.

Yes he did and yes he is (a great talent).

The fact that he is a pedophile makes him an easy candidate for blackmail. Pedophiles pose a danger and they can not be cured. Therefore, these charges should be revealed no matter who is involved.

I heard -- I don't know if it is true -- that one of the present weapons inpsectors is into bondange and S&M. Considering the murder trial of one of a S&M dungeon master or whatever, it seemed an odd choice to say the least if it is true.

Yup, that was my first thought. (At least) one of the inspectors is into S&M. And, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but it's my understanding that NOT ONE of these guys on the inspection team was required to undergo any kind of a backround check.

I am wondering how many Fox reporters are heading to Albany to nose around. I hope they are also contacting weapons inspectors who worked with Ritter, as well as Iraqi exiles and people who know Ritter's wife.

If I had unlimited resources I would check the following:

Contacts between Cynthia Preiser, the fired assistant district attorney and Islamic groups, democrat big wigs, and others.
Ditto for the DA, who may be throwing his subordinate to the wolves.
Ditto for the judge who sealed the case.
Signs of federal agents snooping around the courthouse.
Fire department Ritter supposedly volunteers with.
Associations of Mrs. Ritter, including contacts with foreign citizens and unexplained trips abroad.
Bank accounts of all parties, with special attention placed on unexplained large deposits.
Trips to Switzerland by Ritter, his wife, or any relatives.

That's just a start. I am sure a top-notch group like Fox can look for more information in other ways.

Thanks for the ping! Makes me wonder if Ritter was being blackmailed not only by Sadaam but also by a couple that is notorious for blackmail and Arkancide. Convenient that an assistant DA basically plea bargained out the case without telling anyone! Makes me suspicious especially since it was in NY!

You are thinking like me. He wasn't being blackmailed over this, but rather the cover-up allowed whoever to CONTINUE blackmailing him.

Sounds like someone in the courthouse saw Ritter one too many times on TV and got fed up, possibly someone who has a relative or spouse serving overseas.

Let's hope everyone in the media is not too lazy to get the facts. As we know, most of the media loves to hear Ritter trash the Administration so they may not want to kill their golden goose. Maybe the Naional Enquirer will be the one to dig up the facts...they are often more enterprising than the elite media...they are the ones that broke the story about Scott Peterson's affair..so who knows? I don't expect the NY Times or The Washington Post to do it.
