Good analogy.

Some years back I had to buy a bunch of tightly sealing containers to put all our cereal, pasta, and similar things in, because we had a plague of pantry moths. Ants, too.

Cut off their supplies and they'll go somewhere else.

Actually, if you have ants, you just mix equal parts of flour, sugar and borax and set it out in bottle caps when you see them.

Works every time...

Sounds good to me!

And BTW, if you are really trying to rid your place of ants (and not just using that example as a really clever ploy to get us to read your editorial) look for a damp place where they can hide their nests.

My mother was plagued by ants for years. Nothing helped. Last Christmas when we were out in California doing repairs on her house my husband found the mother of all ant nests under a matt of rotting leaves and other tree vegetation collected on her cedar shake shingles. Removed the shingles, removed the nests, no futher problem with ants. Who would have thought to look for them on the roof????

You raise some excellent points. Liberals constantly point out how hard it is to patrol the whole border but imho they miss the point. If we took away the incentive to be here illegally, and were vigilant in deporting illegals whenever they were caught, you would see a massive drop. The problem right now is they know once they've crossed the border they're home free.

MEXICO

4 tunnels for migrants, drugs found at border

HERMOSILLO -- Mexican agents found four tunnels under the Mexico-Arizona border that were presumably used to transport drugs or migrants into the United States, officials said Monday.

The tunnels were found Saturday by Mexican agents patrolling near the border city of Nogales, federal investigators said. The agents entered a drainage canal as part of their patrol and found a door at the border that led to four separate tunnels.

I think we should offer incentives to American manufacturing firms looking to set up shop overseas, to build in Mexico, and not China.

How about incentives to locate in the United States rather than either one of the other two?
