It shouldn't of course, but she's the kind of person who loves using "guilt by association" smear tactics on other people. Is she in print or in the public eye at all anymore? Or is she retired? I have seen her when she used to be on ABC on Sunday. It seems idiotic to hold a child accountable for their parents acts. The concept doesn't add much to public debate, IMO. I know folks are still POd about Sen. Lott, but at least Lott went down for his own words, not the words of his daddy many years ago. That would have been completely nuts. But going after Cokie's mom makes us look small, imo.
