Robert DeNiro speaks, most hollywood snobs ought to listen... (my title)

Quote from Robert DiNiro from "What I've Learned" in the January issue of Esquire Magazzine:
The hardest thing about being famous is that people are always nice to you. You're in a conversation and everybody's agreeing with what you're sayingeven if you say something totally crazy. You need people who can tell you what you don't want to hear.
TOPICS: Culture/Society
KEYWORDS: actors; barbarastriesand; deniro; hollywood; martinsheen; merylstreep; teddanson
Will someone PLEASE show this quote to all those like Barbara Striesand, Ted Danson, Meryl Streep, Martin Sheen, and the many more, who think that because they have played a part as someone who is a doctor, or a president or an environmentalists, etc, etc, and that they may well have given major donations to some causes that it does not at all make them 'brilliant' on the subject?
While I am sure that I disagree with many positions of Robert DeNiro, I respect his ability to admit that this is a problem. After all, the others I listed would never admit this.

Jermaine Jackson said something similar the other evening on CNN about his brother Michael, who he defends loyally.

I agree. In addition to being perhaps the greatest actor to have ever graced the screen, DeNiro is an unabashed liberal, but he doesn't pretend to be an authority on the major issues of the day. He has more class in his little finger than Streisand, Baldwin, Penn, Sheen, et al., will ever aspire to.
Another Hollywood heavyweight that doesn't pontificate is the magnificent Al Pacino.

That Esquire issue had Ted Kennedy quoted as saying that his favorite food is Dunkin Donuts.

Yeah, Teddy Keneddy. He should have said "What I've learned best is to cover-up every thing me and my family ever did." but instead the first words out of his mouth....as always...."My brothers".
And don't flame me folks. It's not that I did not care that the two were murdered, but it is that I care that Ted has always used that as his up-front-center piece when ever speaking to a group so as to gain instant sympathy. I can't help but believe that it is to always deflect any attention to his actions throughout his life.

I'd relish an opportunity to tell any one of these Hollywood elites what they need to hear.
Here is what the President considers to be the sum total of Hollywod brainpower:

It was a typo. It should have read "DRUNKIN' Donuts"

That's flat out impossible.
One look at the 35 pound corned beef brisket he's sporting on his shoulders and calling a head, will clearly tell you that he favors the grains in whiskey and potatoes in vodka.
More media lies.

DeNiro can't stand those left coast Hollywood rump-swabs.
He's a real deal New York City street guy.

Thanks. I thought it would be more fitting for the pilot of an Oldsmobile 88 submarine.
