1,000 al-Qaida terrorists roam America's streets

More than 300,000 illegal immigrants who were ordered deported after Sept. 11, 2001, remain at large despite a highly publicized capture campaign started after the terror war began, the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

In addition, FBI officials tell Fox News as many as 1,000 al-Qaida sympathizers may be roaming America's streets and cities today.

The Immigration and Naturalization Service is looking for about the same number of people today as on the day the deportation program was launched, INS spokesman William Strassberger told the San Diego Union-Tribune.

But he said agents had tracked down more than 1,000 of nearly 6,000 fugitives who came from nations where the al-Qaida terrorist organization is known to have a presence. The agency also is entering the names of all fugitives into an FBI crime database available to 80,000 law-enforcement agencies, he said.

"It's clear that the administration is interested in tracking down these individuals," Strassberger told the paper. "We're continuing to use every resource that's available."

In December 2001, former INS Commissioner James Ziglar announced an initiative to find illegal immigrants who had fled after facing deportation. But only 68 of the 6,000 fugitives believed to be living in San Diego County were located between October 2001 and the end of September 2002, and most of those surrendered voluntarily, the newspaper said.

The newspaper based its local estimate on figures supplied by five INS agents, who asked to remain anonymous, after the INS last month barred its field offices from supplying the information.

"Everyone assumes after 9-11 that we're looking after the security of this country," one officer said. "The truth is nothing has changed."

In San Francisco, only about 185 of 18,576 fugitives have been found since May, the newspaper said.

INS officers said the program has failed because the agency lacks the manpower for lengthy fugitive investigations.

Indeed, it is an "enormous challenge" to find any of an estimated 7 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, said Timothy Heck, head of the INS detention and removal program in San Diego.

"Even if the INS was 99.99 percent effective, that still leaves a lot of people who can do bad things," he said.

Heck said most of the fugitives are law-abiding. Only 8 percent of those sought in San Diego are believed to have criminal records.

However, many of those described by the FBI as al-Qaida sympathizers may be more than just partial to Osama bin Laden. Some may be trained terror operatives looking for opportunities to attack U.S. facilities, civilians and infrastructure, according to the report.

He didn't do a good job regarding protecting our boarders. He didn't do a good job DEPORTING Moslems suspects, even if their visas have expired. He did not attempt to infiltrate the Moslems in this country by recruiting a massive number of Arabic speakers. He did not stand firm in opposition to the money flow from Saudi Arabia to the terrorist cells. He should intimidate the Moslem clerics that preaches venomous hate against the US, and Israel.

The administration action refuses to recognize that ISLAM, the religion itself, at least the way it is practiced of late IS the source of hate. Our best friends, the Moslem nations are our enemies. Their population hate even so that their dictator/leaders may be propped by us, and tell us that they are on our side. As we all know, these dictatorships have no freedom of the press, thus all the venomous editorials from their media are coming from their so called friendly leaders.

No one can tell me that we, the only superpower on this planet cannot demand equal treatment from these raghead Moslem states. They can come here and proselyte to our people and refuse to afford us similar reciprocity

The American government under the concept of separation of church and state was pushed so far to avoid supporting the majority Christian population. Our government however, has no problem supporting Jewish causes and Moslem cause. Case in point, our military helped the Israelis rescue Ethiopian Jews from famine, while leaving behind the Christian Ethiopians. Our military also helped defend Moslems in Kosovo, and Bosnia. The same military, which is mostly Christian is being dictated to by its own government not wear a cross around their neck not offend the sensibility of the Moslems in Saudi Arabia.

Now Saudi Arabia sent Millions of dollars to build mosques, and proselyte Islam in the US. I am not saying that the federal government should pay for Christian or Jewish missionaries, but at least our government should DEMAND equality and reciprocating the freedom of worshiping. Mr. Cowboy President can easily say to King raghead, look, we let you build mosques in our country, you MUST allow our people to build churches, and synagogues in your country. If you don’t let us, we will bulldoze every single Mosque in the US that was built by Saudi Money. Do you suppose demanding equality and similar treatment would meet more opposition from our allies, or the UN? I don’t think so. I guess the US influence peddlers have been on the take from Saudi Arabia to the point today, when reasonable people read such an article that shows the biggest most powerful country in the world behaving like a bitch in prison. We have no power, and we are made to fear retaliation from a worthless raghead kingdom. Can somebody imagine our government systematically disallows any one with a Jewish surname to be stationed in this stinking desert? Where are the Jewish lawyers?

Just because our government should not side with one religion over the other according to our constitution, that does not mean that our population should suffer systematic discrimination under the hands of the narrow-minded bigoted Saudis. You can not receive a greeting card for Christmas, or even if the postage stamp has a Christmas image it must be cut off! You cannot worship on Sunday, use Tuesday instead, just to understand who the master is and who the bitch is! The excesses of the American government bending over to these ragheads directly crated 9/11! If we did not give them access to our country, visas at their travel agencies! If we had pointed out to their leaders early on in the seventies as they started to through their weight around with their petrodollar, that their fanatical way of observing Islam is not acceptable with our democracy and freedom traditions, we will not tolerate them dictating to us what to eat/wear/worship….
