Sorkin got beat by 25 bodybuilders prancing around trying to date a loser from the first Bachelor show!

I gotta say, I love West Wing mainly because it is well written and I am such a politics junkie...but the lefty leanings are really getting out of control. To constantly portray the Republican congress as nothing more than neanderthals is ridiculous, even for the Hollywood lefties. And he just couldn't get past the religious aspect of some of the issues in last night's show.
Sorkin is a very talented writer, and I love seeing politics and the machinations of Washington portrayed, but Sorkin's leanings are killing this once fine show. That said, I hope it survives....

Someone said last night on the show that they confused 'push polling' with exit polling..

I agree. Sorkin is great at his craft, but the show is a fairy-tale.

Somebody said this morning that the Today show hads Maritn Sheen on discussing Iraq.
Do they think he gets daily CIA briefings as an "acting" president?
Or are they just so stupid they think because someone plays a role they know everything, llike Sally Fields testifying before Congress on farm issues because she played a farmer.

I've never watched it and never will.

While I'm glad to see Sorkin in second place, an 11.6/17 is not a trouncing of an 11.3/16.

Just a little confused, how is a 11.6 rating for Bachlorette vs. 11.3 for West Wing considered a "trouncing" and the "roof falling in"?
To: Your Nightmare
Beat me too it...
To: N. Theknow
Actually the Presdient does get a morning NSA briefing delivered by metal suitcase at dawn [6:30 AM] containing all the Top Secret information he needs to know while he was sleeping.
Kinda of like a Super-Intel version of FR..
One of the best perks of the office, along with every movie in American release that week delivered the Thursday Night before it opens to the Theatre.
[must have been a leftover from Jack Valenti and his service to Jack Kennedy]

It is when one of the highest rated shows on TV is beaten by the Premiere of the Dating Game..

And while you're at it, you may ask how this supposed trouncing could happen "again." Wasn't last night the first "Bachelorette" episode?

Are you trying to say that Martin Sheen gets the same briefing?

And we're supposed to be happy because a Disney show beat out a GE show? Methinks ewing is having a reality disconnect.
