Chris Matthews-'Hillary Clinton is Now Calling the Shots for Senate Democrats'
MSNBC and Newsmax ^ | January 9, 2002 | Carl Limabcher

Move over Senate Minority Leader Tom Daschle-Junior New York Senator Hillary Clinton is taking over.

At least that is the word from MSNBC Hardball host Chris Matthews, who said that in Tuesdays swearing in ceremony for the new Congress, Mrs. Clinton's Democratic colleagues made quite a show of kissing her ring.

It all happened out of camera range said Matthews who described the scene he witnessed to radio talker Don Imus on Thursday Morinings 'Imus in the Morning' political gabfest program.

Asking about the FOX News polls showing that Mrs. Clinton is the 2004 Presdiential Nomination frontrunner for the Democrats the MSNBC-TV talker responded 'You know what is impressive? Sitting in the Senate Press Gallery and looking down realizing that Hillary Clinton is the leader of the Senate Democrats.'

'She is the boss,' Matthews observed.

'Everyone was circling around her when they were having that big dispute over unemployment benefits..Hillary was calling the shots.'

Fear not, Sen. McInsane is about to do himself in and only Chris Matthews is still impressed with him. I personally believe that these people will be allowed only so many fingers in our eye before they do themselves in.

I do not hear a national mourning for the departed pervert and his perverted wife like I expected because of his so called high popularity while in office. Hopefully, this nation has learned a lesson about who we allow to be placed in the highest office.

I've always wondered about the Clintons' ability to amass power and support in spite of their opposition. It goes beyond political genius to something a bit more 'otherworldly'. If there is a deal with the devil here, please remember that the devil ALWAYS calls in his chips. Things never end happily for those who traffic with the Dark Side.

I honestly think the Clintons have made a deal with the Devil. How else can you explain their ascendency?

LOL. I know someone who holds to that theory.

The democrats are so stuck with the filthy klniton duo it is conceivable their party will end up exactly like the klniton presidency-failed, degraded beyond recognition and fully corrupt.

She is bold, ambitious and ruthless, that is true. She is also heartless, vile and enabled her husband to rape and destroy many lives without so much as one courageous outcry.

She has shown what she will do to win, and now, forever, this will be the MO of the democrats.

I wonder if Tommy Daschle cried when she stripped him of his balls.

I think Shrillary will try and fool the Soccer Moms in '08 if Condi Rice doesn't beat the tar out of her first.

He has seemed more subdued than usual for him lately. Neutered for sure, must have hurt.

...she is sure to screw up big time, very soon, and end her chances, cook her goose, for all time if we are lucky!

Why depend on luck? We need to bait her into "screwing up big time" by pushing hard on all the legislation that is good for the nation but not for the RAT party.

Nah, no big loss.

Historians will study the Hildebeast as the most blatant example of Machiavellianism in our time. In a couple of generations, our great-grandchildren will know the full story of how she built up power for the last ten years. Hopefully, they will also learn how it all came to naught in the first decade of the 21st Century.

Queen H. has been running things for the Dems for the past 10 years.

Her first big powerstroke into the democratic party was when she decided, back in 1992, to have the Clinton campaign headquarters located in Little Rock, rather than having it in Washington DC, like it had always been. By doing so, she cut out the headhoncho powerboker guys in DC who were the leaders of the party at the time. They essentially got whacked in the back of the knees.

Her next powerstroke was just after the election, before moving to DC. She held a meeting in Little Rock where all the top democratic Senators and Representatives dutifully showed up and were told that they were going to work for what Hillary considered important, mainly, the health care crap.

After that meeting, at the podium, were the top leaders including then-Speaker of the House, Tom Foley. Hillary had told all of them, in so many words, that it was going to be her way or the highway. Old Tom, no doubt saw the handwriting on the wall. He appeared unhappy and dazed at the same time. He looked like he knew exactly what would happen if he pushed her crap and that it would probably cost him his politcal career. Where are Tom Foley and Sam Nunn today? Two guys who, by all accounts, should be today enjoying top political careers.

Hillary has the exact party she wants. All the moderates who would vote for conservative issues are either gone or going like Zell Miller, or at least thinking about it. Her people are all McGovernites, the kind who sucked at the teats of Saul Alinsky.

Think of this next time you watch any of the democratic apologists on any of the programs. They are stuck with Hillary.

And I feel so bad about it.
