Divers still searching Lake Tulloch with waters of 51 degree temperature. Divers have completed a search grid of about 3000 square feet from bridge outward. Modesto police say since search efforts have come up empty in and near Modesto they are relying on other experts who have directed them to the bridge over Tulloch lake.

Heavenly Father,

Again we bring this young woman before You and pray for Your intervention in her life. Rescue her, Lord, from anyone or anything that has taken her away from her home. We pray for her safe return and for her family members to receive Your peace. Please lead the law enforcement officials directly to her. We pray in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

So far there is no evidence against the husband.

I wish he would speak so that we can assess his demeanor. Remember Susan Smith, Diane Downs?

They ought lean hard on those bums who camp out at Dry Creek Park where she was last seen. I live in Modesto and I know what I'm talking about. Those homeless people saw something but they're not talking because their "code" prevents them from "ratting" on their own.

Thanks for the perspective from the the "front lines".

It seems to me the cops must have a good reason to still be searching the water.

Agreed, Commander. They should also direct some focus down on Yosemite Blvd. near the Gospel Mission.

The bloodhounds led them to that area, and LaLoma Drive has long been an avenue of transit for the transients as they make their way downtown. The Peterson residence is somewhat further east of LaLoma and North of Yosemite Blvd., but still the transients are used to walking to get from point A to B. Point C wouldn't be that far off their beaten path.

It seems a natural to search a lake with a bridge or causeway crosing it. One of those lakes in your area was searched for a body of a person that was murdered in LA. Do you remember that and did they find a body?

My wife had a attempt on her well being 10/01 by a bum living in Sequoia Park here in Eureka. This was 5 am and the only thing that saved her was her pepper spray.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here. I live in Colorado. How long ago did this happen?

Thank God your wife had pepper spray with her. She probably carries it with her everywhere she goes now.

I was under the impression that the bloodhounds lost her scent in the driveway. Please help me fill in what I have missed re: the dogs.

I belive you are talking about the three bodies that they pulled out of either Tulloch lake or lake Maclure.
I also don't think that the homeless people's "code" as Commander8 puts it would apply in this situation. Most likely if they would have seen someone "manhandling" a pregnant woman who was protesting they would have objected. You ALSO could not convince me that that reward money wouldn't move EVERY one of them to move forward.

It was the dog handler's opinion that she had not left on foot but in a car. The dog led them to a dumpster from what I can understand AWAY from the park. I hope they thought to do a test on the dirt found on the dog's leash.

Thanks for explaining that.

It's so weird that no one heard a thing, nor saw a thing.

I have had this sick feeling that Laci was killed by someone wanting to provide a Christmas baby with all the right stuff (caucasian, good looking parents, educated, well-to-do,) to a very desperate and well-paying couple. And I think the husband might have some idea of who did it.

Did either of them have a cell phone?

I know that Scott, the husband, had a cell phone w/ him. She may have one but her purse and car were at home and she was gone when he came home.

I'm curious to know who all knew that Scott was going to be gone that day.....family or any male friends of either of them.

Any idea what grade she normally substitute taught for?...or the last times she had substituted.

Don't know about the grades of kids. I too am interested in the friends/background etc. I really hope that the police have done a complete victumology background. I think could yeild alot more clues than what we've heard.

Great, now in Sacramento they are looking desperately for a 46 yr. old man withan IQ of a 10 yr. old.
He's been missing since 2PM this afternoon it is now 10PM. Has the whole world gone crazy?
Just on news, police will not even mention Scott in their news breaks and they have NOT been able to confirm that she went for work in the park.
