Good evening Miss Marple...Is that an expression of desire to be on the lemming list????

Leave her alone, you pompous, arrogant jerk! Just because she supports her President doesn't make her a lemming. You and your buddies can find a new website but DON'T expect us to leave. We are the majority and don't forget it. We are sick to death of your doom and gloom. Sick to death of your constant slamming of the President and of us. We are here to stay.

No, my intention was to give you a graphic that indicated your attitude. There are several who come onto threads full of good news and proceed to tell us how ignorant we are about how things will REALLY turn out. You are one of them.

But then in the face of filibustering, this president will go on a little effort at educating the American people about what is going on here. Then, when the spineless democrats realize that they can't compete with a man with balls, they fold.

President Bush on Tuesday defended the administration's handling of Enron Corp.'s collapse, declaring that the White House did ``the exact right thing'' and challenging critics to ``let me know'' about any allegations of wrongdoing.

snip

Bush noted a ``couple of contacts'' between members of his Cabinet and Enron executives, but said their response was, ``No help here.''

Bush said anyone with ``an accusation about some wrongdoing just let me know.''

~~~ It comes from the same person who calls people "ratty rat". ~~~
He also, if memory serves me correctly (shades of Iron Chef), was the originator of the WHINER OF THE WEEK AWARD at another website (from whence he has subsequently been banned). I wouldn't want to put money on him NOT winning his own award, these days.
Your are "obtuse"! Frist and Lott are in lock step. Everything they do is for the Republican party's success.
Remember how during the campaign in 2000, Michael Savage would play the W clip with him saying,
Don't worry, I know what I am doing."
Yeah!
I couldn't agree more. Pickering wasn't a racist before Trent Lott's blunder, and he's not one now. Some of the chattering class was predicting President Bush wouldn't dare re-nominate Pickering, giving the black caucus and NAACP another chance to play the race card against republicans. Hot damn! Once again President Bush stands on principle.
Right. It was never about the NAACP or the black caucus or the democrats. Bush's rebuke of Lott was exactly what I expected of this man of integrity. He did it because it was the right thing to do, just as he renominated Pickering because it was the right thing to do.
I love this president. :-)
Yeah, and they are terrible. The illegal aliens here in Kalifornia get these checks on a regular basis. Who was president when that was signed into law.
Until we have better tax relief, I have no problem with some of the tax credits where we contribute our pre tax money for medical care or child care to a cafeteria plan and then get a credit for that amount on our income taxes. Senator Roth got those credits through for us. Usually only conservatives are smart enough to take advantage of these credits.
I'm totally against the Clintoon/Da$$hole tax credits to people who did not make any money or even pay taxes.
