Ending dividend tax, extend unemployment benefits retroactively, move up tax credits from 2004 for things like child credits, mentioned ending the marriage tax, $3,000 in helping unemployed to aid job search - can use for transportation, relocation, child care while searching, etc. $3.6B to states to help unemployed. Wants to encourage consumer spending, confidence in markets, help unemployed, reduce tax burden by $98B this year and $678B over 10 years. Urges Congress to act swiftly. Applause is lukewarm.

Far from wealthy, my household income put us into the "rich" for last year. Tax cuts are more than welcome.
