Kofi is a muslim too. He is one of them. What muslims can be trusted in any responsible position, as their sole motivation for living, if they are a "true" muslim, is the emergence of islam as the world's dominant religion and the surpression of all other ideologies at the point of the sword, or the tip of an anthrax warhead?

To make the UN look foolish and IRRELEVENT. We've got the goods ready to spring when needed for world consumption (IMHO) and when our guys, already on the ground, have had a chance to work their magic, and when the rest of the boyz get in the theater, we'll go after them. When the rest of the muslim world realizes that the UN couldn't find squat, and the US has detailed photographs, informant info, surveillence tapes etc., the sand monkeys won't be able to trust each other (And they'll start to get the idea that the US is damn series about terrorism.

Bush has done a good job of hoisting the UN on it's own petard. The base understands this. From time-to-time in history, the effective use of force is required. The powerful understand this, and will do what is necessary. Will the rest accept this leadership? I think so. The hand-wringing whiners will always be around. But they never get anything done.
