Your point raises an interesting question. Given Israeli intelligence and given their past history with Saddam and anything nuclear, don't you think that Sharon would immediately dispatch any A-bomb building effort by Iraq as they did in 1981? The Arab world would fume and rant, but as in 1981, they would do nothing in terms of launching against Israel.
